I agree, the slippery stairs, the bumpy journey in the back of the van. These were enough to make the sort of twats who infest our streets think twice about raising a hand to a police officer.

Forget reasonable force - strike or attempt to strike a police officer and face the consequences. What the politicians don't realise is that if they get a chance, the morons won't stop until they've kicked an officer unconcious, or worse, yet officers are meant to treat everyone with kid gloves.
