Holmes creates a smokescreen, "reads this guys mail" uncuffs himself and takes time to chill and have a smoke before jumping out a window??? James Bond needs to take notes!!
I luv this part but my fave parts r still when Sherlock fights the guy in the underground place when the song rocky road to Dublin is playing and when Sherlock fights that one dude by the ship and almost gets ran over by it! I <3 Sherlock Holme!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!! I was waiting for someone to post this scene, thank you. It was so satisfying to see someone like Sherlock Holmes break through the smoke and mirror illusions played by these occult-obsessed elitist scum
I love the fact that this movie,unlike most versions(It remind me of the Jeremy Brett version) is coinsistent with the spirit of the Conan Doyle stories. In those stories Holmes was a 19th century action hero as tough as he was brilliant.
@1813mario I did watch Sherlock,and although I found Holmes and Watson in 21st Century London amusing,I don't think that the transition was quite sucessful inasmuch as the dynamic duo are too much the creature of the age that birth them. Holmes is much to much the victorian eccentric and Watson the romantic,but thoroughly victorian everyman to ever fit comfortably in our cynical,technocratic age.
Sherlock jumped out of there Assassins Creed style

And when dukin and rolling across the floor, not one single speck of ask and tobacca fell out of the pipe.

Congratulations, Mr. Holmes. You are one bada**

There isn't any time to waste, but there's always time for a little smoke before jumping out of a window.

The funniest scene in my opinion is when he throws the hammer at Dredgers chest and it bounces off. But this is a close second.

@sleedolfine15
Classical opinion of an American "reader". If you want to watch a consistent version, you should watch Sherlock from BBC.
