I just saw it now. That intro was epic. I have always liked how he entered his sets. So far the intro with Original zelda was my fav, but that was quite nice. Cant wait. I purchased my tickets in Aug too, they were 35$ plus 15$ fees, which is high for me. I heard for the same event they are posted at 120-200 now. I learnt alot from just messin around, but I figured out how to really master certain moves from watching people. The main thing is Time and breaking movements down into freeze frame.

I've been looking around a few tutorial channels on youtube to learn some stuff that you can't exactly just mimic from watching. was practicing with socks and tennis balls all yesterday and then finally did some glowstringing later that night and realized how much easier wraps flow with those compared to socks and how much easier some stuff was than I thought it was ;p

When it comes to glowstringing/poi, I have been working on a few things. November is my starting point of Poi. Its been six years I believe. like what are the lights? Im using several things in the beginning, not as many props as I have used, but a few. First, I have two inova lights, one in each hand. theres also two glowsticks, one in each hand and one led stix in my left hand. Aswell, theres a led in my mouth. So, I coordinate all them to light when I want them to. Then, i start tossing one by one, getting ready to string. The brand of LED at the beginning are INOVAs. best photons I have seen.

Thanks man, I was uncertain if that was an eye catcher. It seems alot of people like the link manips. That was just a simple link catch manip, I actually was messing up, but pulled it off clean.
Three years of practice, 2 yrs of solid practice gets you to that level. Just different because everyone is unique. 2-3 yrs. I practiced 7 days a week for 1-2 hours. Sometimes i didnt practice at all for weeks. It varies, i would say 1 hour a day, or 5 hr a wk.

Thanks man. Unfortunately, no one pays. Atleast in my local area, not interested. Fire has promise, but I dont like spinning fire all the time. Not as fun to me. Heavier and I fell restrained. So, Ive been stringing less and less because Im struggling to survive and its very time consuming and addicting :P So, I have stopped almost entirely, until I can find a way to profit ...or have the time to enjoy it and still survive. you know what I mean?

I never understood the concept of anger towards something like this. This video isn't pro, it's nerdy. Poi is anything but masculine, so deriving leet competition out of it proves asinine. But, the fact that you spoke on this video shows something different. It speaks the complete opposite of what your saying, and you want to be noticed. I think what really wowed me were your flashy 1 handed transitions, some of your advanced poi (like btb butterfly weave), and the manips from 4:40 were really cool.
wow hella sick combo constuction and manips. and the btb buterfly was pretty sweet. only thing you need to work on is the one handed transition stuff and you'll be a jedi master.
Duuuuuuuuuuude, bad ass. :) I'm lovin the tangles, you're gettin them really well. Especially the fluidity of the btb weave into the orbital, very nice. :) I can only do that on mistake. Anyway, keep that shit up man. It's really really good. I'll post up a vid sooner or later.

Thanks, understanding a wide set of poi helps that tremendously. Then having sound manips carves your image. But I know you are already aware of that, by your variety of poi moves :)

Nice! Excellent progress and some interesting stuff!
Maybe some antispin troubles but other than that everything else was ace.
I think what really wowed me were your flashy 1 handed transitions, some of your advanced poi (like btb butterfly weave), and the manips from 4:40 were really cool.
Anyway, great vid. 5 stars!

wow hella sick combo constuction and manips. and the btb buterfly was pretty sweet. only thing you need to work on is the one handed transition stuff and you'll be a jedi master.

I had to sell a kidney to find that essential mix. But the track is ghost-n-stuff. every track on deadmau5' cd 'random title' is amazing. pick it up.

Duuuuuuuuuuude, bad ass. :) I'm lovin the tangles, you're gettin them really well. Especially the fluidity of the btb weave into the orbital, very nice. :) I can only do that on mistake. Anyway, keep that shit up man. It's really really good. I'll post up a vid sooner or later.
