Amen, sister. I was shunned, assaulted and called names at 10 lbs. "overweight" (how could anyone know what another's weight is SUPPOSED to be?) and at 100 lbs. overweight. The whole point is to make women crazy, keep us preoccupied so we don't threaten mens' power/money, and spend billions on useless diets. You don't even need to be that big to attract attention. I used to be overweight and people would randomly talk about me for no reason. It was almost as if they had a personal issue with me most of the time. Once I was hangin with some army buddies at a book store and the cashier made some odd remark about letting fat people in the army. I wasn't even in the army but it was still pretty cold. Stuff like that used to happen a lot. After I lost the weight I then had to deal with their envy lol...

this is so true! I've experienced this as well. It doesn't take some chick in a fat-suite to prove it. the media, too, has done a good job in making people perceive an over weight person in an weird way.. for example, some people assume if a person is over-weight, they are instantly comedians that are trying to laugh away the misery of being over-weight! so lame, but true.
