you can see that the card is moving in the same direction as his head, only with a short lag, therefore there must be kind of string attached to his head which he uses then to attach to a card. if it was real his head should have been following the card, not guiding it

it's a super thin nylon string that is usually black, which would explain you not seeing it on his shirt. all that time he took positioning his fingers was him taking time to try and stick the small piece of sticky tack with the string attached to it to the credit card. which would be why it dropped so many times, because a credit card is too heavy, usually it's done with a playing card.
