  • @kindbds007 thanks, we made some great memories that day, and yeah she tasted great! thanks for watching

  • DAMN! that was one hell of a shot man, I shot a pretty good doe on the first or second day of the 09 season in Moniteau county, this season I saw a Monster buck but I couldn't get a good shot, it was about 300 yards through some thick trees and didn't see anything else. Good luck to all the other hunters out there

  • Glad to see guys taking kids, and harvesting does! no shame in taking a doe. nice job guys! my daughter isnt quite old enough yet, but maybe in the 2011 season she can go. I know what you mean about the 09 season being tough, it was 82 degrees here when i shot my buck on opening day. then we got 4 days of hot rain and i never seen another deer. i was wanting to harvest a doe but it was just ungodly warm. the buck i got was a nice 118, boon crocket 8 point. good luck on the 2010 season!

  • @codykrr thanks for watching and posting a great comment....I absolutely love the doe meat so I harvest does more than bucks by a long shot. congrats on your deer and good luck to you in 2010 too!

  • @hunterguy28 thanks a bunch...hoping 2010 will be a better one. thanks for watching

  • I totally agree with you, one of the worst seasons I remember...I hunt just north of you and weather was just unreal and all that rain, man...anyway, nice shot on that running monster doe...I'll tell you only MO grows deer that size...good diet baby, good buffet style diet, missouri deer eats better than cows hahaah...and little one looks like she had a blast with her old man, that's great, you're good pap's...good luck both of you in the future...

  • @The385031 hey thanks for the great comment....yeah they sure do grow em healthy when they have nothing but corn and beans to eat all year :-) We did have a great time and made a wonderful memory! thanks for watching!

  • congrats, thats a nice doe. shooting running deer is tough. i let them go

  • well that's why my buddy went ahead and shot her too...I had made a clean kill shot but he had seen through the woods that she was running when I shot so he did the right thing in case I had missed or wounded her so we didn't spend all day tracking...thanks for the comment

  • didnt mean anything negative about the running shot,im just not good enough for it. if thats your hole in the ten ring. i imagine it made for some good conversation while gutting."thanks so much buddy for gut shooting this deer after i made a perfect shot!" lol 8^) "you hit it in the guts, you clean it!!!" LOL! again, thanks for posting such a great video. we all got to feel like we were in the blind w/ you.

  • no prob I knew what you meant...when we were walking to her we decided if she had one hole it was his if it had two it was mine...that's why I said in the video "she's got two holes" he just didn't want to help me track her is all LOL!

  • good footage brother! Nothing but making memories here. Love it!

  • thanks, that is what it is all about...the outdoors and family! thanks for watching

  • it prob would have got her to stop right in her tracks tho... the "meehhh" noise seems ta spook em alot of the time.

  • yeah I'm thinking that maybe because it was second weekend they were a little 'spooky' from hunting pressure...I will have to give that a try next time...thanks for watching!
