  • Brb crying :'(

  • so sad ;(

  • these last performances make me cry.

  • 3:34-3:36 whoever that woman over there singing soprano. Dang that was such a good place to come out of the texture. Such amzing soprano voice.

  • elphie?

    line breaks my heart

  • so much passion i love it

  • El sonido es excelente.

Kristin hizo una G(a)linda comiquísima... Y Elphie no pudo tener una representante mejor... Ojalá lo hagan en español...

  • @lyrictitania Ojalá :D

  • Idina is so beautiful when she comes out of the trap door

  • Anyone else start crying when Glinda said she wanted to try and be Glinda the Good?

  • @ilovemidna222 Me, I was so exited and sad...

  • Ohmigosh, this is even better then the performace I saw, Glinda has so much more emotion in this scene. I LOVE KRISTIN CHENOWETH!

  • @WickedlyCheno15 that's because she's overcome with emotion its the last time shes singing on the stage with this cast.

  • I'm so jealous of the people who get to watch the orginal cast. I've watch wicked but the orginal is way way up the best. Just look how they say the words with feelings. REMARKABLE!

  • WOW SHE REALLY IS CRYING!

  • thank you sooooo very much for the subtitles!

do you happen to have the final bow with subtitles????

  • Is this after Joel Grey, or is it an understudy?

  • @Broadwaypuppet I think it was joel greys last night but he wasn't performing. Recall Idina saying she lost her best friend her father and her lover all in one night

  • @colourmeem0 Yeah it wassupposed to be his last show but he was sick and couldnt perform. that happened to idina the show before her last she fell through a trap door. so she just came out for bows.

  • Is it the Wizard of Oz or Lord Voldemort?

  • literally the best play to ever be created. hands down.

  • @jaszon28 no it isn't. It's Sean McCort. The Wizard's understudy. Joel wasn't feeling too well, so he didn't perform, but he came back for Curtain Call.

  • I seriously can't watch this without crying! <3

  • mierda¡

  • @yuneinei Bueno, yo soy peruano :D

  • @fulanitdetal bn dicho yo te conosco aty y a otra amiga

    pero cuando pregunto me dicen

    q? no yo conosco reggetoon

    y yo q do como WTF?¡¡¡¡¡

    q estupidos

  • @yuneinei Yo soy chileno

  • I swear, anyone who didn't cry or feel emotional during Kristin's last finale is a heartless fuck!

  • No one mourns the wicked more than Glinda the Good.

  • @BowserTheSecond no kidding...can you imagine ho hard it would be to be glinda and have to do this

  • elphaba should have told glinda that they were alvie!

  • i started crying in the beginning and at the end when she is in the bubble and is hugging the book!

  • One mourns the wicked :'( :)

  • this is the only finale i can listen to, i'm afraid that if i listen to the soundtrack version, i'll never stop crying.

  • will someone please explain to me the whole story line of Wicked ?

  • That first no one mourns the wicked always gets me. Always.

  • I just did my last high school show and I started bawling at the end number, it reminded me of this and i was singing this in my head ;')

  • i LOVE this musical.....but wat i NEVER understood is that...isnt Alphie supposed to be really really really OLD by the time she meets Dorothy??

  • what happens every time i watch this:

    *Sniff, sniff...cry...CRY...BAAAAAAWWWLLLL...SNIFFLE...sniff...*

  • at 5:07 she is crying

  • I cry every time I watch this! I LOVE KRISTIN!!!

  • Madame Morrible is the only person who disliked this.

  • I'M UPLOADIN THE WHOLE KRISTIN'S LAST WICKED PERFORMANCE! CHECK IT OUT!

  • @franko3110 for real??????? where???? when?????

  • @franko3110 yay! thanks!

  • That last note gets me every time. I cried for half hour after I saw this and still do seeing this performance!

  • I just watched Kristin's last For Good and just stopped drying then I watch this and IMMEDIATELY start crying!! Can my eyes get a break!

  • OMG it's so cute how the Scarecrow and Elphaba kiss in the finale!!! I've never seen anyone else do that!!! AWWW!!!!

And I actually started crying during this finale! WE MISS YOU KRISTIN!!!!

  • 5:07 :((

  • ill never look at wizard of oz the same......

    =)

  • glinda: i like to b..........glinda...the good

    Oh my god

    i cry everytime

  • glinda: CAP....tivity

personal i dont think u would hold up well

my personal Opinion is that u dont Have what it takes xD

    luv u Kristin!

  • is this still on Broadway?

  • @JeessiieeeLovesYou Not with Kristen and Idina but yes, currently Wicked is playing in Wisconsin. I just saw it on Wednesday - and it was fantastic. Kristen and Idina are the absolute best though. I saw them last year!

  • @Iloveorliandwicked You did not see Kristen and Idina last year. Kristen left in 2004 I think, and Idina left in early 2005.

  • @moviefreak316 Oops. Yeah I actually just relized that. Sorry. :( But I've got their CD and it's better than all the live productions I have seen. They are truly meant to be Glinda and Elphie.

  • I've been crying throughout the video

  • I like the fact that people just start to take pictures (with flash no less) shamelessly in this scene ha ha, I bet the people were mad.

  • Cap.tivity! My personal opinion is you dont have what it takes (:

  • You show that snot who's boss Kristin haha

  • "My father, lover and best friend."

That order was totally on purpose.

  • It looks like Norbert. Sort of. In the right light if you tilt the frame and squint...

  • That's not Norbert as Scarecrow, is it?

  • @rogerbartbiggestf100 it is Norbert. It was technically his last night, as well as Kristin's, but no one seemed to care lol

  • @LilSis3923 Wow. Doesn't even sound like him.

  • LOIVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE

  • 1 person should have gone to the wizard for a heart!

  • wait so is glinda happy or sad tht the witch died?

  • @Eve5995 She's sad that her best friend died, but pretends to be happy about it because nobody in Oz can know that they were friends.

  • @Eve5995 Also, this was Kristin's last performance so that could also explain why she is sad.

  • I was fine until she said "Glinda the Good", then I lost it. </3

Gah, why am I so emotional? lol.

  • 1 person should have melted instead of Elphie.

  • I NEED TO SEE THIS SHOW.

1st reason; It's the best show on Broadway, duh.

2nd reason; What the heck happened to Morrible. o.o

  • those tears werent for elphie. they were for wicked <3

  • When Kristin began singing her last lines.....I got goosebumps and started crying at the same time. Words can never express how I feel whenever I hear her song the finale. It almost feels like a little piece of heaven touches my heart.

  • Gahhhh, I always cry when she says "Glinda, the good". So sad. </3

  • can you put this on with captions in english? i don't know how i survive watching this without bursting into tears. i mean, why can't they just tell glinda? she's their best friend so come on! i love it when kristin chenoweth wipes her nose and drool and mocks morrible. and what did morrible say that everyone laughed at before glinda came into the room?

  • @SistrAct she said i dont know why ur so dissomething i thought it went quite well with there brains and there hearts and.. basic gist of it lol

  • Why did she leave the show?

  • Who played Elphie and Fiyero in this show? Was it still Idina?

  • @shadowsfollowers Yes. Idina stayed on longer than Kristin.

  • @ashley15416 Ah. Thanks for tellin me. I haven't seen the play in person, but I've seen it online and I am DYING to go see it in person. :) The show's amazing!

  • @shadowsfollowers Me either, but I seriously could cry I want to see it so badly in person. Though it won't be the same without Dee and Kristin, I'm sure it will still be amazing. <3

  • @ashley15416 I'm sure it would still be good even without the OBC. I would love to meet Kristin and Idina though. :)

  • I saw this in New York at the Gershwin about three months ago and it was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Best musical I've ever seen. Period. There were actually several parts that made me cry: 1) when Fiyero was taken off to be tortured, 2) the entire "For Good" scene and the melting, and 3) the finale. I will never, ever forget the final speech that Glinda made at the end and the "because I knew you" part. Idina and Kristin will always be #1 in my book!

  • when she says "who can say if i've been changed for the better".... you can hear the pain of losing elphie in her voice...

  • idk if it was for real but it was what she was meaning to do! but tht is y evryone laughed!!

  • i like when she got scared

  • what'd she say and do from 2:08-2:17?

  • @WondersNassiri she says,

"i want you to leave oz. i'll make an announcement myself. that the strain of wizardship have been too much and you are taking an indefinite leeve of absence."

sorry some of my spelling is off

  • @twilightsagalover214 gotcha.. did she literally just wipe the snot and tears from her nose? is that why it got a laugh?

  • I know I've commented on this before, xD BUT I wish they left in a little more of the clapping at the end. I love hearing the audience cheering and seeing them instead of it cutting off :/

  • This is no way a Disney ending. It may seem like it to some of you because Elphaba doesn't actually die and runs off with Fiyero but like elphabaglindaandfiyero said, Fiyero would have been a prince and they would have lived in his castle where everyone admired them and Glinda would have known they were alive. It's a very bittersweet ending. It's sad for both Elphaba and Glinda. Glinda thinks both Elphaba and Fiyero are dead and even though everyone in Oz loves Glinda **cont

  • that doesn't mean she will be delighted. Elphaba and Fiyero can never return to Oz because they would get killed but they will miss Glinda terribly so it's a goodbye forever thing. Elphaba was loathed and despised for things she never intended to go wrong so it's what makes this story so heart wrenching. Disney would not allow this sort of ending, being the complete wussies they are. In the original Little Mermaid story, Ariel died but she got married with Eric.

  • what did madame morrible say from 1:59-2:04???

other then that i love it!!!

  • @fredishot4sure she was a child of both worlds

  • Oh I would have given anything to see this live!! I'm crying just watching it on here!

  • I lost it when kristin said "Glinda the Good"

  • It makes me tear up when she says "Glinda the good" and her voice breaks, and the audience starts clapping. :(

  • When she cries... and picks up the hat...I literally start to BAWL. Like a baby. Its so sad how Glinda could never know the truth. I feel so bad for her :(. KRISTIN CHENOWETH IS AMAZING. I have never seen a better performance of this!

    Hahahaha :).

"MY personal opinion is that you do not have what it takes!"

Karma sucks doesn't it Morrible? :]

  • @KChenowethFan right there with ya. I was FINE before I saw this video. Now I can't stop sobbing. I need to see something happy now. Excuse me while I watch her last performance of POPULAR.

  • @KChenowethFan I agree karma's a bitch

  • @KChenowethFan Glinda shoved Boq onto Nessa- which eventually led to his condition, she indirectly led to Nessa's death, Fiyero is "dead" because of her, and so is Elphie. She has to feel terrible.

  • i am so glad she didnt realy die! so happy! but it is sad that glinda couldnt know

  • i am so glad she didnt realy die!

  • i love how there are camera flashes throughout the whole movie

  • My Personal Opinion Is That You Do Not Have What It Takes <3

  • Why does everyone call this a "Disney ending"? If this were a Disney ending, Fiyero would have turned back into a prince, Elphaba's skin color would change at the end, and Glinda would have "accidentally figured out" that they were alive. People are so stupid.

P.S. Madame Morrible doesn't like this video.

  • @elphabagalindafiyero I dont think disney would ever create a character that rejects herself and who she is to the point where she would really change. Disney stories always end with characters realizing who they are is a good thing. And, in Disney, true love prevails and the lovers go off into their happy ending with who they are at the end after the story has changed them. I agree, this ending could not be more disney. People are so stupid.

  • Her first, "Elphie?" and her losing it during her last speech tears me apart. It's amazing that she can still speak and sing as well as she does when she's crying like that.

  • best musical of all times.

  • Always makes me cry... We miss you Kristin, YOU are Glinda...

  • When Chisterie speaks, it breaks my heart.

  • I always cry in the end.

  • awesome LOVE that audiance

  • She is totally losing it....

  • her first Elphie? brought me to tears

  • Is that Joel Grey or something? It doesn't look like him

  • @Lyssnbeck i was there that night. I believe it was Sean McCourt

  • @Lyssnbeck this was his last night but he was sick

  • oh god i cried again...

  • i was in tears at this! I juat sat in front of my computer and sobbed :( i miss Kristin as Glinda, she was the best!

  • idina and norbert do the best elphie/fiyero part of the ending, like does any other coupples kiss at the end? no. and they like hold eatchother it looks so real

  • god damn i cried when glinda (kristin) found the hat and started crying. and when kristen sang their song tears were leaking out of my eyes. i feel sorry for glinda i mean she think elphaba is dead and i feel sorry for both of them that they will never see each other again. even though its a happy ending i find it sad. thanks for uploading and adding the subtitles there are a few parts that i cant her and they help a lot :)

  • This has to be one of the greatest finales of theatre history. Like most theatre endings, it's bittersweet. But it sums up the theme perfectly: we can't escape the irreversibility of unpleasant fate, but a moment spent with another will prove valuable in the future and memory.

  • oh mannn. ;'( i broke down with Kristin when she was crying over Elphie's death ;'( soo sadddd. <3

i absolutely love this scene, no matter how sad it is.

  • My "Dearest, Darlingest" Kristin,

You are one of the most amazing people on this planet to be able to pull this off. You have a beautiful voice and never fail to bring tears to my eyes when I watch this. I wish you every happiness that this world and any others there may be, can bring you. Love always, A xxx

  • this was norberts last show too. they left the same day

  • Wow this is sooooooooo sad!!! I a mcrying qwatching her last scenes

  • those tears r real as can be

  • what happened to Joel Grey, wasnt he the original Wizard in broadway

  • @amyleelover100 yes. he left this night, but evidently had taken a leave of absence due to an illness. If you can pull up a curtain call from this show, they say good bye to him, Kristin and Norbert.

  • I broke down with Glinda when she cried over Elphaba's death. I honestly don't think that the tears she shed were fake. Then my heart broke all over again when she choked out "Glinda The Good" and started singing the last lines from "For Good."

  • her first Elphie brought me to tears

  • Glinda's last words to Morrible=Ownage.

  • It's sad that it took Elphaba's "death" to get Glinda to finally think straight.

    Two best friends.

  • I love kristen. Shes gorgeous.

  • omg..i had a lump in my throat when kristen cried holding the hat :(

  • Thanks for the upload!

  • i'll bet that was realest crying scene she's ever done

haha i love how she literally throws away the snot from crying XD you rock Kristen!

  • I actually CRIED!!!

  • kristin and idina are THE BEST!!!!

    they're just amaizing!!!

i've never seen the show on broadway but by what i've seen in videos

    this show is the best!!!

they should come to puerto rico some day!!

  • you can tell they both couldn't hold their sadness anymore at the last note, their voices crack, and you can tell at some other points of Kristin's last performance that happened a lot, and it's just because kristin and idina became so close during this show it's so good with them, it's never been the same since

    glinda=kristin elphaba=idina

  • What Part is this again?

  • You can tell that she waited to say "Glinda....the good" because it was her final line in her last show.

  • LMAO!

Cap-tivity My personal Opinion is you do not have what a takes!"

  • you can tell she loves swishin that dress around :D

  • 0:31

  • I can't not cry at the begining! It's so sad seing her cry like that! and I also can't stop myself from crying when she says "Glinda the Good". God! It's too sad!

  • -laughs-

    -crys-

    that kristin for you

    what a talent x

    :D / D:

  • idina menzel and kristin chenoweth are the best elphaba and glinda!! hahah WOAH the thumb turns GREEN when you like it! elphabbbaaa!! LIKE THIS :) omg <3 shes definitely crying for real. thats so sad <3 i wish she would come back :D

  • i hate seeing galind cry when elphaba dies (or as she thinks)

  • I cant say how toutching this is, every time I hear Kristin and Idina sing I burst into tears. This is the most beautiful thing ever. x

  • "it's looking at things in another way..."

so good. this musical is phenomenal!

  • glinda..the good..<333 she is my idol! idina is to! im naming my kid if i have a girl kristin may. kristin obviously for kristin chenoweth. and may because me and idina have the same birthday-may 30.

  • Comment removed

  • i could just sit and cry after watching this one word brilliant

  • i wish i knew wicked long time a go when the oringal cast perform of wicked and i wish i could see kristin Chenoweth last show in wicked.

  • Kristin Chenoweth is serioulsy my idol. I love her!

She has one of the best soprano voices that I have

    ever heard.

    She's amazing <3

  • Oh, geez. When she says "Glinda...the Good" it kills me. ): And this is in every show, but when the Wizard says "I am a sentimental man... Who always longed to be... A father..." it gets me the entire time. :P Blah, it's so sad.

  • I love this. I'm crying my heart out here. I hate the part where she says, "Glinda...the Good." It just breaks my heart. I feel so sad for Elphaba, having to leave everyone after so many performances. I hope Wicked becomes a movie. It's so beautiful, and so symbolic to most ppl. I love it, and I hope it lives on throughout history.

  • Poor Idina and Kristin. Idina, to quote her speech after the finale, lost her "lover, best friend and father" all in one go. I cried. A lot. Mostly on Kristin's "Glinda...the Good." Ahhh! So sad. Why did she have to leave? One of the best.
