Did the tutorials and labs ever find their way online anywhere? I noticed that the next course had more information on the webpage but didnt see anything for this course. I've deeply enjoyed watching this course over the last three or four days. I've learned a lot about programming, though not much C, and it's really hugely upped my motivation to teach myself to program.
What adventure that was! I'm not a programmer but watching this series really shed an interesting light on the computer work I do. My goal now is to incorporate the phrase "stuffed" into my working vocabulary. Thanks for posting this! Best wishes to Richard, Rupert and all the students. Also, hats off to the camera guys-- really excellent camera work throughout.
I can't believe I just finished watching all of these videos! (2 or 3 a day). And even tried making the sudoku solver in my spare time. Time to watch all of the 1927 videos now.
Richard is certainly one of the best teachers I've seen in my life.
I had to learn all this stuff without any help from my uni. I got no marks or any credit for it. Nobody told us how to write good code, how to deal with the problems you run into as a coder. This made assignments frustrating.
I could solve them - that wasn't the problem.
But the programming was frustrating, annoying and no fun.
@nkdevde programming should almost always be fun, if you're not having fun, either you're getting boring assignments or you're not cut out for programming.

As a teacher this guy is one of the best.
Nice guy and smart also.
Elucidated many points of hazy obscurity.
