Good point piper and well presented, i myself could do that no problem. Sorry but the song isnt wasted on me as I was in primary school in 1969 when things kicked off. The innocence of children on both sides were robbed from them and replaced with bigotted idealism which continues to this day unfortunatley.

I agree totally, about the children losing their innocence. It's almost like a lost generation or two. Not because so many killed and were killed, but because so many had no childhood or lost a parent or both at the hands of murderes from both sides. I think this songs words have been lost on the guy who made the vid. This song is somewhat mis-appropriated. I'm sure there were many brave RUC men who gave their lives just rtying to keep the streets safe and do the job of a police officer. However, as an institution, they made huge mistakes and were sectarian by default, manily being protestant and wanting to only 'defend' the protestant people. The army too had brave men, but went in as peace makers and became part of the problem.
