I still love this song of OMD. I like the strange sound that sounds like the synth has got a sort throat! I also like the military drums during the last section. Nice touch to the story.

I used to listen to this song as a chld and think it the strangest and most beautiful song imaginable. It also helped make me want to make music. They're both quite passionate guys working in a realm that some have wrongly called robotic and cold. They sang songs about bloody oil refineries and still made the hit parade!

I remeber when they played Dublin my buddy and i got into the sound check the highlight og my life we also met the band afterward. I chatted to Paul for 10 mins or so.. told him Dazzle ships is my fav OMD album he was taken aback lots of class songs on there. Great Band

This is the best performance and recording of ROTT I have seen so far. I saw OMD at the IndigO2 and did not want them to leave, they blew me away. As for Mr Cooper, fantastic as he is on synth, we want MORE SAX PLEASE

Play International to someone who only knows OMD for pop, or better still, play it them without saying who it is. It really shuts them up when you tell them or you leave them awkward in their prejudgement;)

I will.Another one i really love is the b-side '4 neu'. Cant remember what it was on the other side of . Genetic engeneering or Telegraph or something like that. Got it stashed away somewhere. Nearly all them tracks 81,83 were belters. Take it easy i'm off to bed, Cal zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
