God I cannot wait for this game to come out. There is an enormous market for this type of game. A lot of people have been waiting for the next Janes Fleet Command or some sort of modern, non-WWII naval combat game. This will definitely fill that void.

@therealsteve2437 - Yeah, those are "navel" games :) Seriously, I loved both, but they are not serious strategy games - instead they are arcade-type games with a bit of stregy thrown in. This IS a naval war game where you get to control everything.

if you like to play games like this then graphic mean nothing. there is a patch for janes fleet command out there on the internet which will let you play the game on newer machines i still play mine on window 7 and can't wait for this game so hurry up and get it out there please. but the way i also like to play defcom another graphic hungry game ha ha. most of your time will be on the tactical maps then on the ships anyway

Don't care much for the graphics(they look just fine) as long there is a good gameplay/Story..

i think a lot of the games today sales a lot on Graphics whele they lose the story. just look at Battlefield3/Call of Duty MW3 looks good, but they suck ass and are really easy. really sad.

This game looks like it has something good to tell and show.

@SonarWavePulse Graphics aren't everything. It looks like it has some really deep strategy elements. That's the important thing for games like this.

@Django333 Actually I think you inferred there are some deep strategy elements and your probably right. The video diary however didn't go under the hood at all and showed almost nothing about the game other than where it is set and who is in it. Need more.

@Django333 it shows only the graphics, how did you conclude that it has deep strategy elements. on the contrary, I think it has too much graphics (compared to traditional paradox games) which means the strategy part will be weakened

@RumpNissen Who else navy would you want that fit the scenario. For NATO basically represent US, Canada, Danemark and Norway, which along Russia, represent all the country with a military (Iceland having no standing army) with direct interest in the Arctic sea.
