Why doesn't the water slowly grow up? Doesn't that seem the way it should be? Filling it should be one frame while the water dropping as it's absorbed should be noticeable in timelapse.

In this case, it fills up slowly and drops within one frame.

Someone explain this? Am I crazy?

the chia head is made up of a special substance i thnk clay but it absorbs the water and brins it to the seeds to let the plant grow

You're right. Once a day I used a turkey baster to suck the water out of the bottom tray and put it back into the top of the head. So the water level goes down suddenly, and then slowly comes back up as the water leaks out of the chia-pet back into the tray.
