@DIGGL: Who knows. Maybe the director had some personal ties to the state? That happens quite a bit. My guess though is because Vermont is such a small state, and everything is so rural; perfect place for a creepy asylum. I live in VT, and I can see why they chose here. Am I the only one who would dig this movie a lot more if it wasn't tied to the insane asylum plot, that I've seen done a bunch before? It's basically like a robo-samauri version of McGee's Alice game.

It could actually be an awesome Red Alertish stylized universe if not for that. As it stands, I think that'll drag it down a ton.
