  • Look this is great but why do the singers look as if they are in pain - they should be enjoying themselves :)

  • Is that Julia Murney behind the right of Sasha Allen? If it is, then I love how there are two actresses standing next to each other (Caissie Levy and Julia Murney) who both played Elphaba in Wicked! So cool!

  • when i went to see this in april i met Annaleigh Ashford she was so nice

  • Super ! That audience was so lucky to be at Lettermans show that night to see them perform .

  • "Nina Simone"

    Ain't Got No...I've Got Life

  • This actually IS the dawning of the age of aquarius. So cool to be doing this play right now. Look it up, "the age of aquarius"

Beautiful songs, beautiful play. I'm in it at my uni. It's sooooo amazing.

  • Allison case <3

  • This is her first role on broadway. I'll take it! For a songstress she sure made an impression on me! Peace and Love to you!

  • i agree with u. sasha allen does have a gorgeous voice but how do u know she doesn't have much going for her in the acting department? i'm a huge fan! has she done some acting recently? please let me know so i can check her out! i did see her in the movie Camp n i thought she was fabulous! would love to see more...

  • loved this show sooooooo much!!!<3333333333333333333333333 got pics with sheila and woof!! ahhh and got them all to sign my playbill (all main characters) everyone else is extremely talented too though!

  • sasha allen is fierce.

  • far out!

  • How about that, so cool

  • Allison Case (the little red haired girl with the orange flower) has the most amazing facial expressions during "Let the Sunshine In".

  • i would give my kidney to be in this show

    <333333333333333333333

  • the audience just doesn't get it...

  • i know, they suck. I would've been up on my feet dancing and singing

  • i completely agree with you! i would have given anything to be in the audience!

  • I got to see this two weeks ago! Best show ever! I got to go to a work shop with the two main blondes before the show and got to dance on stage and met some of the cast after. Like Berger!

I wouldn't shut up about it for like an hour and I was just so happy.

    LONG LIVE HAIR! Berger <3

  • i'm sooooo jealous!

  • may i be as lucky as you when i go.

  • Does anyone know the name of the redhead girl?

  • Allison Case

  • Thanks!

  • Wow! I didn't think that they could successful recreate "Hair" but I believe that this revival has done it.

I would love to see it, but I'm not in NY! =(

  • Looks fun I wanna go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Omg I already wanted to see this 'cause I love the movie but I didn't know Sasha Allen was in it!

  • Kudos for their exuberance and ebullience! But did it seem a bit forced? Imagine what it would have been like the first time 'round....

  • Damn, that outright made me CRY, lol. God, i wish I could see this show!!

  • If it's the last $100 in your bank account, go see this show, it's worth every penny!

  • I swear, if seeing it here on this little screen is powerful to you, you must see it live. Saw the show just this Saturday and I'm saving up my pennies to see it again. Was lucky enough to have aisle orchestra seats and received pets while my sister got a kiss on the head from Berger. Dancing with the cast at the end is the most exuberant thing I've been a part of in a long time. People must have been wondering why I had a goofy smile on my face the whole walk to Grand Central!

  • does anyone know where i can find the original 1969 appearance on the ed sullivan show? been searching for it everywhere.

  • well your best bet would be Ed Sullivan show archives or box sets.. you know the date of the performance so that is a plus...

  • Goosebumps. the whole time.

  • it is amazing squared - if you can see it.. do ...

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE<3

  • Sasha Allen who sings Aquarius does all the backgrounds on Let the Sunshine.

  • thanks! I still can't find my playbill - i appreciate you answering.

  • Holy smokes! I went to school with one of the guys in the cast of this. I KNEW he belonged on Broadway. Wow! Great show to be in too, the wall of sound on this is really phenomenal.

  • No way! Who?

  • I saw this show on 4/3 and was AMAZING. Highly recommend it to everyone

  • Caissie looks so different with her hair straightened.

  • flesh failures was some kinda awesome..i have to check this out at some point. loooove this musical love it.

  • Oh I would also totally wear what the black guy in 1:45 is wearing! I like it!

  • question: Who is singing in the background from 3:21 to 3:30?

  • i don't quite know what you mean - but the lead singer is singing while the cast is out in the audience.. just doing solo work...

  • i mean the voice you hear doing the high long note between that time frame and you can her(?) finish the note at 3:30.

  • i thought it was the lead singer (who started out the performance) but i cannot tell for sure - i am annoyed as i can't find my playbill to give you a name....

  • oh well its alright. Im going to New York soon and going to see Hair on the day after the Tony Awards. I just can't wait to feel the energy from this show closehand.

  • her name is sasha allen and yes its her doing the solo stuff

  • caissie levy? she is Canadian and awesome.

  • i think the background at 3:21 is the lead singer of Aquarius. I think the background from 2:03 - 2:20 is pretty damn impressive too.

  • i tivoed this performance, and went running and screaming to my mom to get tickets to the show after watching it. i HAVE to see it!

  • I love this show! I especially love how the audience was into it!

  • i was lucky enough to see it already - and they really do bring the audience into it.. soooo worth it!

  • God I just love the celebration of this! Like some of the audience members' faces...this is so beautiful, I can't wait to see it!

  • this is an absolutely beautiful show. i saw it on march 20th, and it has been thus far the best show i've seen. beautiful message, beautiful actors, and an overall great show. i'm trying to plan another trip to go see it.

  • RUN to see this production! Saw it on 4/24 with my husband and 13 year old son. Absolutely brilliant and so profoundly relevant in its anti-war message! The powerful ending will stay with me forever.
