some of the techniques are very sexy and result in a fast finish, but some have no place in todays ring.

most instructors these days only teach 50% of the full muay thai techniques. there is too much backing off and not enough attack, this was derived from the battlefield, take the same naked aggression into the ring and you too can be undefeted :D

this is so stupid i dont know why people keep leaking/showing muay boran style/techniques out on youtube. it shouldnt be spread out like this. People who do not know about the art could just watch this and take the move and call it there own or claim that they know muay boran. I have no respect for people who post these vdo's out on the net at all. You want to learn mae mai muay thai, then go to thailand and learn it.

about claiming it as their own, all martial arts are developed and added onto through generations so through the times one person finally named it. and only by learning it can future generations advance it. but i do agree i hate those who claim to know martial arts such as muay boran when they dont. im around some who claim to know silat but i know there full of shit! they didnt even know the tiger attack which is both common and famous from silat.
