i liek this video, very much.

Moding doesn't mean easing up the game. For example graphic and texture mods. New dungeons with harder enemies. Getting a modded sword is not overpowered. If you play modded harder dungeons it is just as hard. By the way you could use chameleon enchanted armor so she doesnt see you. and yo ucan sneak attack her.

I like that you did it the normal way without chameleon gear that makes you invincible unless you do modded dungeons.

Cheers, I honestly always preferred the Temporary Invisible Spell when it comes to stealth anyway, (I think it's called Ghostwalk or Phasewalk ingame as a spell.) since it is not as cheap as 100% stealth.. dosen't take the complete fun out of it but still offers you a first punch if not used for recon in a new dungeon I find.

Nothing really, the Shrine demon will thank you and the dog statue will be all "meh!"

I'm sure the mask only has a Speech boost. Which is a skill I never have needed to use (what with bribes.) And I'm sure its weaker then any decent helmet in the vanilla oblivion alone without mods.

The sword is undoubtedly the better option, but for curiosity sakes, the mask slightly perks those who like the speech function.

The Modded version on the PC is 2 Handed.

Well if you didnt have any mana left (the blue bar)

thats why you couldent cast the spell.

If you couldent drink any more potions, then you need to wait for the other potions effects (if they have timed effects) to end or wait a few seconds after drinking alot to begin with.

I dont think Umbra can mute people (stop them from casting spells.)

If you mean through the whole fight... erm... your INTELLIGENCE determines how much mana you have, maybe it was damaged enough before the fight so that you didnt have enough mana for your healing spell? Just a throw in the dark but that can be solved with the right potion.

2. It is not hard to beat anyone in the game at any level as long as you focus your stats on one of the major areas of attack-- i.e. melee weapons, bows or magic. Or even if you are good at chameleon spells or sneaking, conjuring creatures to fight for you, or reflecting the damage back. My point is, it shouldn't have taken that long. Start over with a new character, get some practice in and take my advice. Oblivion is fun as hell, try not to drown it in mods or you'll miss the core experience.

Dude, I have played this game for a long time on both the PS3 and PC. I have cleared the stories hundreds of times on easy and normal difficulties with different characters.

1.) My laptop I used to play this with FRAPs had lag recording so my controls were slightly late in the first place.

2.) Numerous mods including OOO have changed the original damage system. My character was ill prepared with magic true, specially since Umbra's armour in this case was very buffed with SHIELD.

DONT think I dont know how to play this game.

You must remember that the difficulty can be changed and the fact of the total conversion mods changing the combat number system. (Which has honestly made it slightly harder.)

End of the day, this is a flat out long and bloody battle with Umbra. ENJOY IT.

P.S. The Laptop died.. lol.. So i've only gotten a New one today interestingly enough... Oblivion will be on my list to put back on since ive got a powerfuller machine now. ;)

1. I noticed your slashing, restoring, and use of your shield was completely incorrectly timed. You wait too long for your enemy to hit your shield, you slash after you use a power move and after you are staggered.

The battle varies and changes ENTIRELY depending on your level and the difficulty.

This fight in particular I think my character had maxed out stats with the difficulty on Medium.

I WAS planning to use the Deadly Reflexes Body Explosion spell on her, but the beheading seemed more fitting for the situation.

wow this took forever

i made quick work of her though i was wondering around ruins (at level 1) and there she was!

so i switched to sneak mode, pulled out my silver longsword used adrenaline rush and sneak attacked her...

when it took off not even half of her health i was devastated that i started such a strong warrior so i just kept blocking and swing when she was staggering and eventually won

though it took me like 4 turns to kill her =D
