  • Everyone mumbling about human eye cant see 60 FPS.

Indeed not, but please, play a game on 30 FPS, then on 60.

If you dont see the difference in smoothness, mouse "lag", then you are doing it WRONG.

  • thnks dude could u write one out for me for dead island???

  • hmm good thing with that priority stuff i try it out but a good way is too defrag ur pc for example ^^

    or check ur regestry

best is u get advanced systhem care thats the best tuning program i think :3

  • I don't have a graphics card, I have a chip :(

  • Worked BUT now my wow have 3000ms latency =(

  • well it wus worth the try but it didnt work for me :( on that note i did it on window 7.

  • This might seem weird. But what do you run WoW on? The batch file or Wow.exe?

  • I have some simple tips for fps increase, My specs:

    AMD Athlon II X4 630

    4gb DDR3 ram at 1333

XFX Radeon HD 5770 1 GB

    1920x1080p Monitor (in game res)

Ok so what you do is turn shadows to high, just turning from ultra to high offers no visible difference but made 33 FPS go to 44 fps in a laggy spot. Also ALWAYS disable Reduce Input lag because it made that 44 fps go down to 32 fps!!!!! So never turn that on!!!

  • Worked lovely

  • well, the batch thingy didn't increase or Decrease my FPS but the ATI things help by 5 fps and made it run alittle bit smother, went from 50 to 60 on AVG.

  • WTF? Improved fps by like 60? i had average 24 fps, logged on in ironfoge. 80?!?!?! Thank you soo much!

  • you're a ripper! thank you so much mate

  • well does teh one with notepad work for xp?

  • Does it work with windows XP ??? plz reply

  • Unfortunately this didn't really help me much, but I appreciate the video. Good to see it worked for some.

  • It's work for WoW i was on 25fps and now i play with 65 ips with a nVidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 ! =D

  • with that bat thing it enters the game but i cant log on with it! any ideas ?

  • This crashed my wow. dident work.

  • Omg thank you man, im subbing, it really worked!! it made my fps higherby about 15

  • you're a genius gave me about an extra 20 fps thanks for the post

  • I am very happy with this video, thank you so much, it made a huge difference with my FPS. thank you again :)

  • Can anyone help me?Apparent the game im playing doesnt have the process thing in the process tabs.(I cant find its' process in the process tab) Thus,im not able to run it in high priority and this method wudn work either, any other ideas?

  • So, do you have to open the .BAT file, every time you are going to play WoW? Just a simple question. Or can you just like, open it once, and after that you can open the retail on the normal way.

  • Increased my FPS by 12.I love you,I subbed

  • @skylar360 Glad it helped :)

  • @Toops144 Thx a lot dude it worked does it work with all games or only wow?

  • @MrGirfes96 Hi it works for all games :)

  • What is that catalyst control center? I tried to look it up on my laptop but i could not find it, therefore i could not change my graphic card settings? any help?

    please

  • increased my fps by 5.. thanks :D

  • You have very calm voice. :P

  • v-sync decreases frame rates...

  • my wow has 60 framerATE AND DROPS TO 5 IN LIKE 10 15 MINS i dnt know why and i cant figure it out does anyone hav any suggestions?

  • @qinn50 Could be for many reasons, but from the sounds of it, your computer has a heat issue.

  • i think that its easier to just do the task manager, processes, wow.exe, set priority to high

  • ...whos that girl in the background

  • Comment removed

  • It says can't open wow.exe it claims when i try to open the wow batch. Any help here, please?

  • OMFG, I FUCKED UP ON THE COMMAND!! IT OPPEND CMD 867 TIME I R FAIL!!!!!

  • what if Wow.exe doesnt show up?

  • lol i like your backgroundpic xD

  • You have such a nice voice to listen to.

  • It improved my fps to 35 indeed. Thank you =)

  • You made my day dude. thanks so much for this.

  • I'm on a toshiba (netbook) and wow runs at 15-20 fps on low. I have 1gb DDR3 ram n 1.66 dual processor. Quite honestly even though 15fps seems low its auctually really smooth and I have no complaints!

  • @blent3342 I have an old pc with old components.. 1gb ram and a cheap video card from radeon, 9250 i think.. well i have everything low settings, and it runs always 30 fps, smooth and really good, sometimes it lags when a lot of people are in the same place, but not that big lag.. like it goes 15-25 fps, and still run pretty good. i've been playing for 2 weeks now, i raised a worgen to 85 and the experience was great! graphics at lows are not that good.. but oh well..i can't affort a better one

  • 768 mb ram and 98 mb video card intel extrem graphics 2 :X :X lagging on wow 15-20 fps :X

  • Thanks for the tips, I run about 100 fps in 5 mans but in org around 25ish.. everyone iv'ed talked to had the same fps.. but when i do this i get about 45-60 now even in the busiest part =)

  • @heresyaja Why run 100 FPS when Humans can only see up to aaround 32 anyway?

  • @TheCodFatherPro The human eye can actually see 60fps >.>

  • @TheSweatySack Actually there is no limit on the frames the human eye can see - particularly as the eye does not work in a 'frames' way, but rather based on movement. At any rate: no test can determine how many fps an eye can see, and it is no way provable. Whole bunch of academic tests and research papers on it if you're interested go google em

  • @0liverwarren stfu smart arse

  • @TheSweatySack umad?

  • @0liverwarren yeah a little bit, why thanks for asking.

  • @TheSweatySack no.

I, and im sure others, can definetly see the difference between 100 fps and 60fps, especially in fps'

  • @TheSweatySack actualy no. the human eye can see as high as 120 or even more. do your research before you pst :)

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSweatySack Fucking robot

  • @TheSweatySack Not really, human eye can actually see a lot more, but brain makes it around 24. That is more about monitor refresh rate, if it is higher than 60hz you can see the difference, sometimes not, it depends on the video card, I didn't made any research about why it is that way, but feel free too do if you want know more about that, I don't. What I can tell is what I believe and I believe that there is an accurate filter that makes it the way it is, maybe optical ilusion.

  • hey i have a sony vaio with this specs and it runs wow on 30 FPS

    3 gb RAM

AMD Athlon 2 dual core procesor 2.20 GH.z

is there any way i could make my fps go up

  • @tsjakka7 i have an hp dv5 with that sp. and i run game at medium high

  • I saved it in my D drive, because there is not enough room on the C drive, and when I click it it says something like 'Wow.exe' is not found etc :/ help!

and in game is awesome also

    tnx very much buuuuuuut......

after about 15 minutes of really nice gaming my internet disconnects :S

is it because it's wireless or something?

because i have really turned everything else off and still the net is needed for WoW =S

    help =D

  • Just bought a Nvidia GTS 450 the other day and im getting 15 fps in Orgrimmar, could this be the result of my 2.5ghz dual core processor?

  • Is it possible to replace graphic cards on a HP G61 (406SA) laptop? (as it uses a GMA - which makes me have low framerates when there are many mobs or people around me even on low settings)

    Thanks.

  • @WFcrit1876 Even if you could, in the long run it wouldn't be worth it for a laptop especially. Most if not all comps come fitted with integrated graphics, but because GMAs share the same memory pool, it can dramatically reduce performance overall - whereas dedicated video/graphics cards have dedicated memory. You'd be better off getting a desktop instead as it's easier to upgrade. GL

  • nvm im going to buy the alienware area51 m15x .

    specs :

    512MB NVidia® GeForce® Go 8700M GT

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T8100 2.1GHz (3MB Cache 800MHz FSB)

    2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz - 2 x 1024MB

    can i play smooth?

  • @tsjakka7 haha you will play WoW very smoothly :D

  • Who's the ugly girl in the background/desktop?....

  • how do i get my 32-bit up

  • Wow I search improving general game performance and this is what I get?

  • your wrong 32bit PCs can go to 4GB so :P

  • Hey Toops144, Question. I've around 1 fps during 25 man raids and it's made my healing and cordination a huuuuge downfall. I have a pentium 4 3.06GHz AGP motherboard with 2gigs of ram. Yesterday I got a new video card thats a HIS radeon HD 4670. and somehow I lag more. What could possibly be making my computer lag? I just reformated my computer so no viruses or trojans could effect it.

  • @bloodvain571 Your processor is not good enough.

  • I LOVE ASIAN BOX

  • lol @ the wallpaper

  • Sorry that's Memtest 4.0 from hcidesign which is what I use. Just checks to see you don't have any bad memory. It's free but again takes a while to complete (depending on amount of RAM u wana check).

  • Hey dude, basically ive started getting fps lag in 25man raids.

ive got 4gb of ddr2, windows xp64bit and ati hd4850. the gfx card is getting on, but what will give me better fps in 25man, more ram or a better gfx card? please get back to me mate x

  • @chubster1239 Hi you seem to already have more than enough RAM already, so it may be a matter of upgrading other things though your grfx card is reasonable enough already. Try updating the drivers as a newer ati catalyst driver was recently released for 64bit OS.That might help though your system is sound and should be able to cope. May also be memory related try 'Memtest' (free app takes a long time tho) or overheating. GL.

  • @Toops144

Cheers for the quick reply pal, yeahh, checked over heating not that, The problem i was thinking, a old mate, thought he was good on the pc tryed overclocking my ram, it didnt work, caused me to crash, i now use a programme called ramsmash to stop my crashes when i raid.

if i get new ram and take out the old one, will it illiminate the old problem the other damaged ram would have caused? if cha get my flow :)

  • @chubster1239 Hey there are literally tons of memory optimization tools like that - sum free, some you have to pay for & while some people swear by them I don't think they're any good tbh. In my exp they have made performances worse due to software bugs in allocation of memory. I think the RAM and (or if you overclocked) the grafix card couldve bin damaged by the heat buildup. If u overclock make sure you have a way to dissipate the increased heat (liquid cooling etc). Mite need new comp :/

  • @Toops144 Hey I was wondering what kind of Graphics card and how much ram and what kind of motherboard and a quadcore or duelcore pretty much every detail on what you need to run WoW Cata smoothly on atleast 40-50+ FPS, Would you be able to help please? because I've quit WoW due to lag and I would really like to get back on it. :)

  • @chubster1239 depends on your processor.

I think you don't need more RAMs.(or it could be your internet connection)

I've got 2GBs of RAM DDR 2 , intel processor 3ghz...radeon 4670 HD (ASUS) and it works parfume :D

  • @tender121995 same, i have a 512 mb RAM and an AMD Sempron and it works fine

  • the batch file is making me reinstall wow :(

  • haha u got the 3450, i got the 3650 :)

  • For WoW, i lag a SHITLOAD in Dalaran, Wintergrasp, and other crowded areas. i have 1022MB of RAM, and my graphics card is a ATI Radeon X1300PRO. Which one should i replace to get rid of fps issues?

  • you are awesome :D thank you for this

  • when v sync is on my comp get max fps (60 refresh rate ) also if i turn on triple buffering its still stay at the cap.

so my question is should i turn off v sync and get around 100fps or turn on just v sync or v sync with triple buffering

  • @Tyler0580

Leave your vsync. it helps prevent screen tearing. your eyes cant even see at 60 fps, let alone 100. everything is perfectly smooth at 60 fps

  • can some1 help me my directory is delat/games/world of warcraft can some1 show me how it should look then.

  • Thank you excellent tutorial, thank you very much! (:

  • It says for me windows can;t find wow.exe Have I typed in it the wrong place? I used @echo off

    "c/program files/world of warcraft"

    start /high wow.exe

  • @TheBuzzbox123 dude dont forget the ':' or colon

  • DAMN, i saw that part in WoW holy crap, in a raid i drop to like 8fps :P

  • does this work for any game?

I also have ATI Radeon HD 4570 Graphics 512mb 4000 series and i lagg so much while playing can you help

  • I noticed you was changing your built in graphics card which is ATI, mines ACER which i play wow on, but I have no idea on how to find the configuration within my computer, can you help? P.S. • WoW is from 2004, if your computer doesn't do over 60FPS already, you should of upgraded six years ago.

  • @GeeakFreeak You sir, are retarded.

WoW is from 2004. Yes, but it have gone through MAJOR graphic upgrades since then.

  • @thats5 physics upgrades, not graphics essecially.

  • @GeeakFreeak

    Oh yeah?

Shadows? Weather? The overall graphics have also improved. Almost all the spells are more detailed too.

  • @thats5 That is FSX...

  • Amazing video... went from 6 fps in 25 mans to 45 fps in 25 mans, even when everyone casts aoe's.

  • @iBecameUnknown What option did you use?

  • its pretty much the same thing with nvida if your a heavy/advanced gamer or even average id recommend no less than 4gb of ram and a good graphics card always helps

  • My FPS in less then 5 in Dalaran...So I hope this works.

  • this helped me but without the change in the display thanx!

  • I LOVE ASIAN WOMEN

  • @ItsDaJokerHAHAHAAAA ME TOO !

  • Didnt help me at all on my laptop :( HP Pavilion dv9000

  • i try with task manager but it says access denied lol i dnt know y it works with chrome

  • @ShaunJ4Y1873 you probably werent on an admin account

  • @Toops144 thanks alot :D the info is perfect, gonna buy some at the weekend ;D cheers!

  • Could someone tell me if it's possible to get extra RAM for a laptop?

  • @Imperial858 @Imperial858 Yes you can though depends on how many slots you have available and the type of RAM you need. Go over to Crucial's website and I think they can identify which type of RAM you need depending on your laptop. It should also tell you the maximum amount of RAM that you could potentially install.

Also if you run 32bit windows there's no point going above 3gigs of RAM.

  • What is this doing is to set the priority to High . It doesn't fuck your computer

  • Lol thanks dude

I went from 20 to 60 fps @ medium settings

this from a laptop ( 900 € ) wich isent even designed for games

I find it strange but sometimes i even go up to 120 :/

  • Asian Gf?

  • nice background :)

  • @stevo1994728 Nozomi Sasaki - the best gravure idol out there at the minute :))

  • should i do this?? somone please tell me it aint gona fuck up my wow or anything is it?

  • If it fuck up your wow, then uninstall wow and install it again and it is back to normal.

  • @R0ryNG it wont :P

  • @echo off means that he runs the command ur giving unseen.

@echo on will show the command you do.

    Also used much in MS-DOS

  • whos the person on your background? lol

  • Nozomi Sasaki

  • My problem is.... processor. I have 2 GB of ram but a week ass processor

  • you are the bomb

  • wow i dont think im going to try this cause i use @echo before i start making my viruses so ya
