What is all this nonsense about comparing stages of the Vines? An idea, an emotion, a thought can't be contained by the mere naming of it. Every single moment of success and of decline in the Vines' history makes each song all the more beautiful.

And if you think the Vines are defined by Highly Evolved you can go fuck yourselves because you do not understand what makes a band like this so impeccable.

The Autumn Shade trilogy is the best ensemble of songs ever. My favorite one is the second, but they are all so amazing, like they creators are. Sucks this one is so short, i'm really looking forward to Craig being able to play music again, writing an Autumn Shade IV, touring the world and rocking France (i wanna see them too lol)

autumn shade III is the best, not that autumn shade II isnt great but i just believe that besides the unfortunate shortness of the song, a.s III creates the ideal splice between the (later) beatles and the (lighter) nirvana

To be honest, the vines are really poor now, they havent done a thing right since highly evolved rather than keep trying to change their direction. They should make something as good as Highly Evolved. There was no reason to change a winning formula.

i actually find that kinda sad.......not enough to take it seriously....because let's be honest......who cares......but the fact that Turner admits that he 'acts' on stage is sorta pathetic...........but that in no way reflects how I view the Monkey's music....i think their music is fucking ace...it's just a pity that they've no real flair on stage......unlike Nicholls....who you can tell is not acting...he's just being himself...having a grand old time.......

artic monkey's are different in style...i think Craig has some fucking awesome vocals...he can twist and warp the pitch...it is so beautiful...it shimmers....Alex Turner has this real dry, northern accent....which suits the style of music they play.............he obviously draws from Nicholls though with his onstage persona...the whole, out of it thing that he does...you watch....you'll see it...easy

Well on the Vines website it says they have had to cancel all tour dates due to the deteriation of Craig Nicholls mental health and is in need of immediate help. Its a shame because it keeps putting the band on hold.
