The square enix team assigned to the development of Vincent Valentines background story (Nomura, who I've grown agitated with), rushed into releasing the game. The mysteries that literally made Vincent Vincent, were poorly revealed and imagined. His history should have been much more intricate and reveling... instead, we get a stupid bitch who fucked father and son over. I guess the direction was generally fine, but everything else was just shotty work. Nomura is losing it.

@Liddaofzo no, you don't have to play any of the games before it. if you want to get the whole story, though, you need to play Crisis Core for the PSP, then FFVII(PS), then watch Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children[Complete], and then play Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII_ (PS2). If you think about it, Lucrecia wasn't really at fault, it was Hojo. He shot Vincent, Lucrecia tried to save him by making him one with chaos because of the fact that he was going to die. And hojo probably threatened her.

Auron and Vincent, in my opinion, are the best final fantasy hero's. It's hard for me to explain their differences. All I can say about Auron though, is that he's more father-like, yet holding all the traits that Vincent has. They'd be quite the team together in Kingdom Hearts, wouldn't you say? Or perhaps and Final Fantasy Dissidia 2 ^_-

....One thing I noticed after playing this game as well as the other FF7 games is....Lucrecia...CAUSED one of the main problems in the FF7 game....thats Sephiroth. Because she agreed to expirement on her own child, when Sephiroth came to descover such things. He went practically insane. Thus causing the whole starting poing of the game. Not to mention she caused Vincent to have to live an immortal life. Shes just as twisted as Hojo. Was it really to save Vincent? Or simply shes a scientist?

Agreed. Hojo himself even asked her "Here is your failed experiment." she said "Not an experiment.",but then she looks up and repeats herself in a question. She is one of the whole, major, components. She got Grimoire killed, Vincent immortal and miserable, Sephiroth psycho genetics, and in essence everyone who died is blood on her hands.....Yeah I can't stand the bitch if anyone was wondering :) I was glad she was silenced! :D So I am in total agreeance with you!
