If christian was the attacker he would have teamed with Edge again.

We now have DX, Edge probably turning face on Y2J to join up with Christian so there you have E and C together. Then, when Jeff returns much later (nearer the time of when Edge returns) Matt and Jeff will probably team up when Matt welcomes Jeff back to WWE.
