Madden would be a good analogy for Incubus. Old versions of Madden have all these great modes and options available. Then, they bring out shittier and shittier products and slowly add in a few of the old options and modes but never make the superior product that they once did. Incubus make subpar music now. LG is a tremendous album, no doubt. So much better than ACLoTM. Ben Kenney gives them a whole new dynamic sound. Rogues, Anna Molly, Pendelous, Light Grenades, A Kiss To Send Us Off, Paper Shoes are the best on the album....only thing is the Earth To Bella songs are shit.

like most of you said, y arnt the other songs on LG like this, And i also agree kenney, pasillas, and especially einziger are unbeleivable at what they do, u gotta give them credit for trying stuff completely new to them (like kilmore) AND FUCKING RULING AT IT. but even i give a big what the fuck to earth to bella. but seriously, they tried a whole new format on LG and kicked its ass. just compare LG to science, and look at the huge differences. ex: a ceartin shade of green, and paper shoes.

Why couldn't every song on Light Grenades be like this one? This song is like Incubus giving the people enough of what they like so that they like it, while keeping what makes them great. The other songs on LG are mostly just pop songs though. I wish Mikey would play more solos like Sick Sad Little World or Deep Inside too. He really is one of the most amazing guitarists I've ever seen. The rest of them are great, like Jose, but Mikey really is stellar if you ask me.
