Gee...haven't received mine yet, ordered about 2 weeks ago...hopefully I don't encounter your issues with it...my thing is if the fitting at the bottom of the "plastic" pitcher (you said plastic?) needs to be adjusted ever time or so that you use it..it really would not be a good selling item, most people haven't a clue on repairing anything...good luck to you

I have had mine 3 months and use it regularly and no problems, I'm sorry yours is a lemon, hopefully they will do the right thing and replace it or refund your money. I love mine. (fingers crossed)

I think some of the people who do have complaints with this product do not know the distinction between "blending" and "juicing". On top of that they may not know much about how to "time" what U would like to make. The Health Master is a (blender) AND NOT A JUICER ! One more thing.....read the instuction book on HOW to prepare food if U have little experience in "blending" foods.

@FreedomGale I use it about 3 or 4 days per week, some times twice daily. When I do use it (1) I first (prepare my fruits and veggies by cutting them up BEFORE) I place them in the blender. (2) I set the timer for ONE MINUTE. (3) I use the stick that comes along with it to mash things up, until the machine does what it needs to do for about 3 - 5 seconds.

Same problem happened to us. Today we used it to blend a smoothie and liquid finally came spewing off the bottom making a mess. I regret buying this product and to see this failure mode only after sporadic use.

Keep your eye on Craigslist. We found a second hand vitamix for $90.00. I had to keep a good eye out and it took some waiting. But they are out there.

You know I just happened to find your video and I didnt even realize that my Health master leaking was a problem I would just take a paper towel and wipe it. See now you've given me a reason to go ahead and purchase the vitamix blender..because that's a better one anyway

yes the health master does leak..... mine started leaking within four months of using it.. It leaks through the iron plate at the bottom, which make the leakage even more disgusting because it oozes a greasy like quality along with what comes out ..... The replacement part is $50, which i think is LUDICROUS because this is obviously a defect of the PRODUCT it self...

I have just been using my one from walmarts called Hamilton beach it blends up veggies too i got it for like 25 and i really love using the fruit drinks like you said. I use mostly natural fruits.. Plus they charged you $30 to send it back and to receive another one. That's an additional sixty bucks for something that may not work again.

It seems that people who use it everyday have problems with it leaking. People who use it occasionally don't.

I have had my healthy master sitting in my kitchen for about 1 year, and just starting using it this past month. It does not leak for me, its very fast at blending, and is very easy to set up and clean up. Im sorry that yours did not work for you, but i recomend buying it again and testing it out once more, and hopefully it does not react the same for you.

you know i am not going to buy a blender at all becuase i tested mine oth the other day and i put watermelon, bannanas, carrots, coconut milk, orange juice, some vitamins i opened up and emptied in there, and it blended fine. i didnt really know my blender could do all that i paid like 20 bucks for it at Walmarts online. @WonderWomanFan4life Of course i felt more energy from raw foods. The recipes are more for flavor I believe as well as vitamins. I didn't want a replacement because I saw to many complaints about it leaking here after I purchased it and those people didn't get a refund like I did because they waited to long. If you use it every single day before the warranty it will leak. They know it, they've had several complaints but still sell a defective product. I don't appreciate. The leak was not minor.

You know you are right. i actually got a blender just before holidays 2010 and tonite i tried blended up some stuff but i usually use it to make my herbalife shakes, coconut milk, bannana or something and I think it will work ok for now. i have been looking on here and others have been complaining about the leakage too. but i saw Vitamix on ebay trying to bid on i think can get for 60something. i am going to pass on montels blender. iso better price

Thanks for the information. I'm disappointed too -- and I don't even have one. The product seemed too good to be true in the H.M. ad. Monteil Williams always seems so stalwart and honest...but maybe he got waylaid by the makers of this machine. BEST BLENDER: Kitchenaid. Check it out....Kitchenaid is best!

Get a Vitamix. They are expensive but they last for YEARS! And you can always buy a new container for the vitamix as well as other spare parts. They have a 7 year warranty.

Its awful! Mine started smoking, burnt out, and tripped the circuit breakers in my kitchen! Customer service was awful, returned it and got another one, and this time it dripped like yours. I put clear water in it and ran it on 8 and about a minute later, the water started turning brown, I was livid. After practically fighting with customer service, I returned it for a refund.  When the receipt requested was received, I called them daily and demanded my refund. I finally got it.
