  • I'm selling my Gladius and I really want a Street Triple. But I'm not sure about the reliability. Can anyone share some opinions? Thanks a lot.

  • @odracirseraoseia1999 I've got one. Never had any problems. I've done almost 12000KM in the last two years. The only thing that wore down pretty quick was the rear tire. But that just depends on your driving stile.

  • @gerrit85100 Pirelli Angel ST for Street Triple, fits perfectly and lasts longer

  • Since I know this video I hate french people.

  • I wouldnt trust that old french guy around my kids

  • Amazing bike!!! Is it everything from stock?, or does it have any custom change? BTW, the sound it's amazing!

  • Wtf is this french guy doing on here? Plus all he seems to actually know about the bike is that it is a triple. lol "three cylinder! Three cylinder!"

  • does any one know the top speed ? about 230km/h ?

  • Least convincing French accent ever. He ruins the video.

  • Sounds that good with stock cans?

    I need a drink.

  • Is that the stock exhaust?!

  • great video im getting a 2010 phantom black r this week hope to post videos soon

  • nice vid but why is this french guy talking all the time... he annoys me

  • he's about as french as dell boy trotter - only dell-boy's french is better. Love this bike. Bonjour

  • yeah that f**cking french talking pervert should break his neck or at least be slapped hard on the face

  • Fantastic job keeping the wind roar down. More onboard videos should sound like this.

  • check out the performance of our bike richy!!

  • He seriously needs to tighten the chain, or else it will break off with that kind of riding!

  • Comment removed

  • He is riding the shit out of that thing. I am starting to like the speed triple more that the speed master these days.

  • What a sound!! How I wish my 3 cylinder Hyundai Atos would sound like that!!!

  • cannot wait to be 21 !!!!!! =D

  • ahah :DDD:D:D:D:DD::DD:D:D:DD

  • @petiot11... I'm guessing you're another one.

  • "... three cylinders, they make the love" great stuff! wonderful visceral feel from the vid. thank you. makes me slightly regret my new ducati. (although i think this steed would get me locked up)

  • The bike is just awesome but must agree with the other comments. The French guy sounds extremely annoying...

  • to me, it looks more like an english asshole trying to speak french. But I guess you are too dumb to realise that it is in fact a british taking the piss out of French ...

  • I want to punch that french arsehole

  • british... the man you see here is british.

    slag.

  • Re-upload this video without the french faggot

  • looks pretty quick

  • Shit camera angle. AW360ME Bike though

  • i cant get over the size of the number plate,, so big and ugly

  • look out the truck Man !!! good job

  • very nice bike, poor riding, bad rider, silly french fart:((

  • Such an amazing bike, i rode with a group of striple riders. Man do they move, the front wheel is guarrenteed to lift, very hard bikes to keep up with in the twisties.

  • Ma che si può comprà na moto de genere pé andacci a fa le impennahe....ma vaìa vaìa...

  • which one do you think is better looking? this or the ducati monster...?

I also like the aprilia shiver

  • Oh come on!!.... You have to decide which one looks better....

But I can tell you that for the money you won't get enything better... Ducati 696 is more expensive and has much less power :)

    StreetTriple all the way!!!!

    ER6n-rider:)....

  • Sigh - now I really miss my speed 4 (which BTW I think sounded better - never did lke the sound of the triples).

Preferred the drop handlebars and high pegs on the four as well - wind was bad enough without being made to sit upright.

  • I want my girl HOT , my Beer FROZEN and my bike NAKED.

    Triumph for life :)

  • hehe... sign^^

Next season i may drive with no HP limits. And i want to buy either a street triple or a hornet 900 or a bandit 1200.

  • go the with triple

  • @Nomoredie Frozen beer is not that good buddy

  • @Nomoredie

Frozen beer? That sounds rubbish :D

  • @StefSSU Americans like their beer cold, not luke warm like people in the UK do. lol

The Street Triple is on my list of possible future bikes, the Bonneville was at the number one spot until I found out Triumph has them made in Thailand, which is inexcusible.

  • @shutokoupro,

Oh I drink my beer cool, just not frozen solid :P

I believe that people in the UK have their pints at room temperature there is because room temperature tends to be south of 10 degrees C :D

  • @shutokoupro We drink lager very cold, but most proper ales don't have to be really cold, just chilled, so that you get the real flavour (flavour - something American beers don't have!)

    Lovely sounding bike, that!

  • who is that old kook on there?

  • I'm currently building my skills on a Ninja250R, I didn't want to start out on anything bigger.

I however have Triumph written right through me and after my arbitrarily self-imposed 10k mile schooling on the Ninja I have a black street triple in my sights, I was looking at the Tiger but no, it's definitely going to be this machine...mmmm only 4967 miles to go!

    Great vid mate!

  • Sympa sauf qu'on voit pas devant! Joli son.

  • not a massive fan of nakeds, but i fucking LOVE the street triple....

    ultimate wheelie bike

  • goofy "older" man but jeez that sound takes me back! I miss my Triumph!

  • man will always have a love for machines

  • This video made me go out and look at one at the dealer, no lie.

  • God Damn! I'm selling my Buell.

  • like with nothing on it bone stock its $9,499 USD

  • Try $7999

  • Triumph the perfect bike for a mid life crisis, this has been prooven uk gov

  • the old man talkin that funny is so .... MOrron!

  • The old man? WTF, are u 10 or something?

  • hahahaha .............. u r so damn rite. He is facing a midlife crises or seems like he is going bonkers!!!!!!

  • Great video, the footage is awesome! One cool bike too, sounds great very similar to an F1 car ... !

  • Just want to say thank you for all the comments! Had no idea so many people would watch this on that day when it was filmed just around Hinckley.

  • @raptorama

hi. i saw you riding the bike at real high RPMs.

what do you think about the vibrations of the motor? is it ok?

  • Just try a SPEED triple..........

  • can you fit a sidecar???

  • I passed my test 3 weeks ago and went out and bought a brand new ST. Very easy bike to ride but needs respect -you gotta realise you got limits and need real experience.I running it in so keeping revs down to 5000 max.Even so it flies away from the lights! My mate (ninja 636r) saw it and wants one!Awesome bike gets loads of attention.Bye the way I just turned 57......

  • dude, with modern alloys you don't need to run engines in gentlly anymore. ride it like you normally would, and just make sure you change the oil very regularly... at 200, 500, 1000, 1500 miles. if you break it in too gently the piston rings won't seat properly and you risk losing power... amongst other things.

  • He also risks voiding his manufacturers warranty. but who cares about that? Triumph warranties are pretty useless anyway.

  • gay-days at Triumph...no, Jean-Paul: don´t use Drugs!!!

  • is a triple to fast for a first bike???

  • Watch the vid ! I wouldn´t recommend it to choose a > 100 bhp-bike for your first bike... There are less dangerous ones, but the handling of the street triple IS easy - to say amateur-friendly... Your decision, your money, your life !

  • It´s for sure not a typical beginner-bike - you have to be more carefully, the bike is light and handling is as easy enough to say it´s amateur-friendly... Your decision !

  • Buy a small bike and get some skills. i can tell you it is very easy to lose control of a bike. Beeing fast is as easy as walking, but how much skill do you have in the corners?

  • it all depends on how you try and ride it

  • just get it restricted to 33hp for a bit if you think its too fast for a first bike

  • i got a 2003 triumph TT600 for my first bike than less than a year later a 04 honda CBR1000RR. yeah fuck wit it!

SUPER SUPER SUPER

  • im more of a sports rider but have to say the street triple does look fun

  • that bloke in blue is so annoying

  • this video...is so fucking FAST it scares me

  • i think im in love with The Street Triple its so sexy but i like the ktm dukes body and i like the ktm like just how it sounds and feels and drives that thing sounds like a electric can opener LMAO but its deffently up there with the ktm duke on my list its nice that guys in crack thogh

  • hahahaha

  • awesome ride!

  • Kids, don't do drugs.

  • ?!?!?!

  • you know what? I cannot recall why I wrote that one. I was not on drugs. I guess...

  • I WANT ONE RIGHT NOW

but not at a price of 9000€ -.-

  • Where do you live? in gemany you get the Street Triple for about 8000euro

  • austria -.- 8990euro minimum

  • Italy: 7900 euro

  • It's true.

The Street Triple R costs 8700€

  • BRASIL 30.000 reais

  • trust me take one for a test ride i took one out last year and couldnt stop smiling ! Went back and ordered it straight away . Lose the black screen though they look better without out it.

  • I wish someone would make a video like this of the Speed Triple to. Im still hesitating between the 2 models.

  • Is it possible to fit aftermarket Akrapovic exhaust cans on the Street Triple?

I heard once you do that, the exhaust note is OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD

  • That sounds seriously good. Probably better than the Speed Triple 1050

  • me i live on the island was a 3 day launch i belive the mcn pics are clear as to being taken on the run from kates cottage too the creg and ramsey pier, plus theres a couple of others.

  • "trois cylinder" :)))))) damn i love when he says that

  • That is one of my favorite bikes my friends..

  • how fast is the street triple 0-100 kmh and 0-200 kmh?

  • 0 a 100 in 3.8 secs and 0 to 200km in 11secs

  • thanks. and top speed? real topspeed please. but in the another magazine 0 to 200 say in 13sec. i cant believe 13sec 0-200 just to slow. i hope its faster.

  • well somes magazines say about 225 real speed some 230 so i just dont know really, some say alittle more so cant tell you

  • wow..what a sound..

  • Awesome vid! Great sound

Its gona be this one or the monster 696..

I know, two different bikes :)

  • Who's ready for a vid from the Isle of Man launch of the 09 Street Triple R then?

  • who told you this shit

    jebotebelaj

  • This will probably be my first motorcycle. The 675cc is perfect for this kind of bike. I would get this because I like sitting instead of the other motorcycles that you have to lean on. Nice bike.

  • This bike would not be a responsible choice for a beginner. You should do some research before you make a choice on such a powerful motorcycle. Yes i ride. Don't think i'm some 14 year old just posting on the internet.

  • io amo la triumph adesso la compra mio fratello e dopo ci saranno molti amici che lo invidieranno

  • I am from Croatia and i love Triumph motorcycles,it is so beautifull i must buy it,now i have Speed Triple but 2004 and it is avesome motorcycle,Triumph forever

  • I want this bike to be my first so bad, but I know it'll be a terrible first bike. Think I should just go SV650? or SL 750..

  • why should it be3 a terrible first bike in a test from the german magazine called motorrad ( motocycle) they say its a good ridable bike wich is good for young drivers because the breaks are good and the engine is perfect!

  • Well, I thought the 107 hp may be a bit much for first time riders. I guess you're right. Time to find some cheap insurance :).

  • when its making more rpm the sound is amazing. they say the gearbox is also really really good

  • Aye... the gear box is tite as a duke's arse.

  • this is the best motorbike now.... i love it!!!

  • I couldn't agree more... I sold my SV after one year of ownership... It was mediocre at best AND it sounded like a mechanically challenged electric drill. My '04 R1 on the other hand sounds rather sweet - goes pretty good too :-). To be honest I really like the exhaust note of the Trumpet... it's just that irritatingly loud mechanical whining that I don't like.

  • It sounds HORRIBLE... reminds me of a cordless screwdriver!

  • I'll race your cordless screwdriver any time. Besides, the SV sounds like a sick Ducati Monster with its valves out of adjustment.

  • It sounds like the typical rice burner even if it is not from Japan.

  • fuking idiot with the glasses

    japanese and italian bikes forever

  • It's faster than a moped!

    hehe

  • is it just me or does the Street sound twice as good as the Speed. Not that the Speed doesnt sound great...but the Street just sounds insane...
