  • Is it just me or did he say "fecking kids" when remarking about them turning his hair gray. He was hilarious. I'm happy we have all these records of him.

  • what year was this done

  • His books should be on everyone's book shelves.

  • Frank McCourt. HIs works are a must read. A brilliant talent. God rest you, Frank.

  • I love Frank McCourts honesty !

  • The book was honest. Deeply sad. Hilariously funny. I fell in love with Frank McCourt while reading his book.

  • this was a great movie, i cant believe rt gave it a low rating.

  • The movie is a very poor version of the book. I read the book continuously.

  • I loved reading Angela's Ashes, I was really impressed with Frank's honesty .

  • what a guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a lovely voice, silenced. Frank, you will be terribly missed.

  • RIP Frank.

  • Soo glad i'm not the only young and mostly miserable bastard haha, thanks Frank :)

  • I've found, as an amature writer, everything DOES have something that interests you, and everything becomes inspiring, even in a small ways.

  • this interviewer is a dickhead...he is more interested in hearing his own voice than listening to what frank has to say.

  • lol ya he can be ike that sometimes, but thats his style... hes abit of a control freak with the conversations..

  • Brilliant Book. Thank God little Frank survived to tell his story. Bless him

  • I read 'Tis and appreciated it even more than Angela's Ashes. Each is a great book and story of Frank's life. But as young man growing up in the United States I could identify with the struggle to become something. The disillusionment...the longing to find who YOU are. It's a great book and a joy to read. In the rich tradition of the Irish, Frank is a great story teller.

  • Oh yes paully I agree 200/100 That book made me feel better when I was down,I read it again and again .never give up and go on,that's it.

  • I loved his books. I read them twice and laughed and cried both times.

  • Frank McCourt is a brilliant writer! American children oddly enough can relate to his stories in our own way.
