Hey u forgot the Dream Team!!lol!!But still great 80's and 90's era...will forever cherish it..right now was nothing compare to the past in s'pore..i really did enjoy my childhood life..thanks for uploading!
Oh YES, the Tamiya Hornet (the black car at the top) at 2:15 :) :) I loved that car back then :) some friends of mine had an NES or MegaDrive but most of us had either a Commodore 64, Amiga or Atari ST back in the 80's :)
I can't believe I'm tearing after watching this clip. Miss the good old days when I was in primary school, the sticker book we collected like street fighter, EPL soccer players. Not forgetting dragon ball and power ranger cards... Anyone knows there is a way to use 20cents and get 2 cards? Everyday during recess time we would play 5 stones, zero point, 1 leg, marbles, eraser.. Good old days..
thats bus number 18 at tampines interchange. im pretty sure i've been on this bus. not forgetting those international flags erasers matches, ironically, brazil will always "win" probably because of world cup 94, was pri 4 then. quick question, why are there no walkman, discman, and the massive playground with poles only. and 4 heavenly kings, dragonball card, (golden card), and the list goes on.
We grew up during a crucial era. The 80s generation lived through the dark ages (before the internet) and the IT boom. We witnessed the transition of analogue to the digital technology; with every aspect of our lives tied to it. Long live the 1980s!
How I miss the good old days! I have seen all these items in the clip. I read most of those books, played western bar, brick games and nintendo!
The best part is bus 137! That shot is taken at Old Toa Payoh Bus Interchange that have been replaced by HDB hub! 137 goes to Zoo from Toa Payoh! hahaha... The block and carpark behind the interchange is still ard, not demolished yet. I miss my old days staying in Toa Payoh.
People born in the early 90s get to experience all these as well, late 90s maybe some. Now I see 3-4 years old begin with games on iPhone straight away.
bus 137 from toa payoh interchange back drop.. enid blyton hardy boys nancy drew, carebears, smurfs..collen color pencils, flag rubbers, A & W meal.. damn
