If there were no autism awareness my childrens shcool would not have set up a program where they could get speech therapy. Is that such a bad thing? You are very cruel.

Hi checked your channel, you say you want the world to know about your son. All I could find was a channel with the information that you are 38 and lives in the States. But anyone could write that. I know AspergerSquare8, she had to close her account due to hateful comments about her children. If you want to make such hateful comment you could at least show who you are, and not be a coward and hide

The things that this video oppose to is all the organisation, who get federal funding, by giving people false hope about cures for autism. At least you could argue from the indoemations at had. No need to get personal, that does not lead anywhere except to hate and misunderstanding.
I do not think many children get hurt by this video, it it more the false hopes of parents that their children will grow up and live a normal (NT) life. At the same time you do seem to realise that there are grown ups that are autistic. And I cannot see how your son is helped by you keeping a false hope.
this false hope can actually keep parents from working towards help/accomodations that their children WILL need. but SOME of us are hiding from the future,
I happen to the guy that made this video, and he had to leave YT due to hateful comments like your, I am little tired of losing my few friend due to people who cannot face reality, and live in a dreamworld created by the organisations who has to sell false hope, to get funding to keep their organisations running. And I do not see anywhere in the video, that it is against autistic people getting help. I get help, I have a cleaning lady once a week. But that does not cure me.

lovingmomoftwo - Some of us are over the moon with the joy that our children bring into our lives whether they are autistic or not. Defeat Autism Now, one piece short of a puzzle, a trainwreck, can you not see how hurtful these things are to autistics? Autism is a part of them, it cannot be divided and cut out of them. Our children havent been 'taken', they are still there just the same as theyve always been and i for one wouldnt change it for anything.

It is genetic but it's NOT caused by lack of affection. That theory has been debunked.
