lol i have a 2 week 4 day old columbian red tailed boa her mother was 10 feet long 65 pounds so im hopin my girl gets that big or bigger cant wait to feed her rabbits
That mouse is way to small!!!! oyur under feeding it. Go talk to some one who ownes one or a vet before you buy a pet damn. Im pretty sure the dude who left is almost certainly a faggot.
you shouldn't feed it live food, it can hurt the snake alot before it gets a chance to strike. that mouse also looked a little big for the snake, but thats not that big of a deal.
nice boa ..y have my self 5 redtail one died cuz of live feeding...if yo dont want your snake to get a big hole or die kill the mouse before you give it....im just telling you
ummm i dont mean to tell u you dont know what your doing but you shouldnt feed a live mouse to any snake because if you didnt know this a live mouse can do grat damage before a snake can kill it sometimes it does such great damage the snake dies...i own a colombian red tailed boa myself...but your boa is very beautiful
hey man next time let someone else record i guees you were to exited lol the boa looks great, start buy giving her rats that mice will just leave her hungry. subscrebe to my vids
Is this serpent a boa constrictor of red tail? I believe that if, it is that my boa looks alike greatly to ... my serpent is a boa jaja when my boa hunts to his mice is more impressive .. but good great video.
if that is a full grown mouse that thing looks like it should be eating like small - med rats. i've had my RTB for a year and a half now their great snakes!
i am colombian and many of you dont even know how to spell my countrys name. is colombia not columbia. i think columbia is a state or a city in the usa so please for next time. is colombia
men you started by believing you could call me the way you wanted. havent they tell you to respect others ideas and opinions, because it seems like no.
no i live in america, and plus i wouldnt care if they did because im not a person that get all but hurt over a stupid comment, unlike some little retarded people who think thier race is the shit
ok if you say you are mesxican. bueno mano usted me a demostrado ser un bastardo criticando sin saber, buscando defectos en las personas y demas, usted no sabe respetar opiniones y por logica no se respeta a usted mismo. ojala reconcidere su forma de pensar¡¡¡
your supposed to feed in another container partly so that they don't associate a hand going into the cage as "feeding time" but more so they dont ingest the substrate. so next time don't bother putting substrate in the container lol
@rcdc128 no because when you take it out it will still think you are feeding it but if you feed it in the tank, it will know that its not feeding time once its out of the cage, i have fed my boa and python in their tanks and have only been hissed at once
no he would not chase it and dont do that you need to feed it F/T its safer and more nuritional for the snake therefore he will be healthier and have a longer life span
lol that was great and for the dude that said not to feed it in a diff tank ur dumb i feed my snake in a diff tank hell ive even fed him on the floor and i have not had one prob with holding him
hey dude what would happen if i put the snake on the floor and then threw a mouse on the floor too, would the snake chase it??? cus that would be cool :P
these people are stupid who say you shouldnt feed snakes live food. But I will say, that boa should be eating a bigger mice then that...more like a small rat
hey there, lately i've been been feeding him 2 of those mice, (one at a time), every 10-12 days or so, do you think that's enough? the The next largest rodent at the pet store was definitely too big :(
u should feed it frozen thawed u bitch u are a mouse killer to and u film it? wow ur a fucking bitch. go get a life u think this is cool? well its not its not amussing either so just go fuck ur self
The snakes in MY videos are pythons. YOU have a columbian red tail boa. This snake will NOT grow past 7ft and 40lbs.
You should NOT feed in a serperate tank, by doing that you teach the snake that when hes out of the enclosure he has to look for food which can make handling dangerous. (contact me if you want some easier methods for feeding etc. i have lots of experience and can help you out)
Another thing, if you know whats good for YOU and the snake, stop feeding live. He'll take f/t.
hey...yeah i've known for a while that it's a red tail, and i've been told that he should be fed in a separate place, and why shouldnt i feed him live?
Because its dangerous. if anything goes wrong you could have a dead snake or a snake with many injuries. Food can fight back. Ive had it happen, its NOT worth your pets life. Trust me. Try p/k or f/t tis alot safer and just as fun. REally. For the sake of your snake.
ive heard the exact opposite re: feeding place... ive heard that you shouldnt feed inside its enclosure b/c then it gets used to food coming in when the tank opens... another possibly bad situation for handling... If you take it to the same 'feeding tank' everytime, then it only expects food when put in that tank... sooo, which is the truth then??
also, it wont get past 6-8 ft if its a boy, if its a girl, you could have upto 12 ft, 14 in the wild
Ive fed snakes in enclosures, and out of enclosures. Ive had and bred snakes for 5 years. Ranging in species, From experience, it's 100 times better to feed inside a tank and develop "hook training" With my burms adn retics, i tap on their head with a hook, it turns off their feeding response and lets them know tis play time not food time. They know if i open their enclosure and don't touch their head, its feeding time.
first off that is NOT a ball python... you are on some serious drugs if you think it is. If you are feeding in a seprate container then DONT put substrate in it.. Also IMO that mouse is too small for that boa. If you want to see what a ball python is look at my video "akasha feeding" she is a ball python. You should probably not own a snake anyway, you are an idiot for not studying up before purchasing that snake.
av got both a royal python (ball python) and a red tail boa n a can tell u tht ur snake is deffo a red tail boa.
royals onli grow to between 3 n 6 ft as adults but av read stories of boas growin to 14ft but a think most average out at about 8-10ft.
slowmofo357 if ur sayin thts a royal u know nothin, yes u get different patterns and colours of royal pythons but thyre called morph's lik pastel or pie bald or ghost etc n thy dnt come cheap.1 more thng to prove its a red tail boa LOOK AT ITS TAIL.
thats a Columbian red tail boa no question about it..... do a image search on a ball python and a image search on a Columbian red tail boa and compare the two
omg i think you are right!! but the ball pythons on the image search look the same too, but the red tails look even more like agador spartacus!! does this mean i have to research how to take care of him all over again?
that is not a python it seems to be a columbian red tail boa . my friend has one too . look at its tail . u notice how it has a different pattern? its a red tail boa . sorry
Uhm yeah it is a ball python... What everyone has to realize that ball pythons have dfferent patterns and there isnt one python that will every look the same as another... There will be an off set in one of the pythons color or pattern... To me it looks like you have a spider pattern but i cant really tell you will have to wait for awhile till you can tell the breed... Hes not even 2/10 of growing lol... Beautiful snake by the way and good job with the different tank method...
I got mine used to eating in his tank so now if i try to reach in to take him out hell strike lol... But thats when he knows there is a mouse he never has bitten anyone... Oh yeah and as for you feeding him i watched in that movie of yours you better get used to a quick throw in... Once he gets bigger hell start to strike if your not quick enough... Beautiful snake though...
i looked at pictures of both. i found pictures that look like my snake on both. there are a lot of types of ball pythons, about seven different categories.
no its not. thats looks like a hogg island boa to me. google "ball pyton" and "hogg islang boa" real quick and get your facts straight. i have a year old ball python, you do not.
check out my red tail boa eating if u like it comment and subscribe
