its a very small diff when u load angry birds...but when u load infinity blade and some unreal engine shit...makes hellufa diff..256mb ram is just not enough to run a sandbox unreal engine game IMO

people like you forget the fact that the iphone 4 is about 3 time more expensive than an ipod touch... if i bought an ipod touch and a mid range android phone i would save about £200 and i would be enjoying both android and ios...

@user4385 The reason the iPhone is expensive is because, simply, apple can charge more for it, people will still pay that money,and apple don't lose out, and they don't have to produce as many phones. Plus, I see what your saying but, I'd like to have it all in one device :)

i sold my 3gs as i went to a new HTC Desire in Feb '11, but texting and internet surfing is very 'clumsy' compared to the iphone, almost like its a beta version, so i'm looking at the ipod touch to get back into Apple, and sell the Desire.

@paulomoura2 The iPod touch is 512 mb of ram(otherwise it wouldent be able to do multitasking) as same as iPhone. And the iPhone prossessor is an A1 prossesor going 1.5ghz, the same one in the ipad.

And the iPod 3rd gen has 256mb of ram and it can't run multitasking.

my cousin just bought a iPod Touch 4G, and I have an iPhone 4. When we do facetime, I can only call him but I can't receive calls from him. Any idea why?

Btw, my phone is jailbroken, his iPod Touch is not jailbroken yet. Does that make a difference? Also, he is running off wi-fi to facetime, but i'm running off 3G. I got it to work with the 3G Unrestrictor app in cydia.
