it is human nature to compare artists who sing covers. This is the risk singers have to take but Tony Bennett has been doing this for 7 decades now that people admire him for his fine voice, his folksy and polite manners and his longevity. Sing on Tony , we love you .I have this CD and I play it all the time

boy o boy. to determine which one of the 3 different renditions of NYSOM between tony,billy joel or barbra is the best is nearly impossible to decide. it's like choosing between the lobster thermidor at cape cod room in chicago, the porterhouse at the palm or the prime rib at lawry's. how do u decide?? but as someone once said to 1 of my comments, "spoken like a true carnivore." i just cant split 'em. anyone out there in youtube land heard all 3 and care to opine??

I vowed that one day I would see Tony Bennett live on stage. Last sunday night in London that vow was realised. Each song was delivered with true artistry. He conducted the audience as if they where a collective musical instrument designed to produce applause and affection in equal measure. The songs were as ageless as love, and therefore, so is he. He is, in short, a master of his craft with a deep and good soul. God bless him.
