I loved it when I just happened to see a quick bit on "90210" with that Jamie "what's his name" mention who is influences were or who he liked and he said "Graham Parker". I almost fell off my chair....
Shows like Night Music aren't on anymore because the corporations have created an audience with a very short attention span who are either too hyper, too busy or too musically in the dark to understand shows like this. The corporations also worry way too much about ratings, even late at night, and prefer to give you programming that doesn't challenge or inspire you in any way.
Get the intro right, buddy. It's "Here's the criminally ignored Graham Parker".
