Tech has lost two big games on two very questionable helmet-to-helmet calls, once against VT and once against ND. But you move on with your life. Crappy officiating, especially in the ACC, is like death and taxes. They will blow calls, usually both ways, but you have to overcome them.

Its really sketchy...and you know what thomas austin has 2 career holds...and guess what...they were the two controversal holding calls vs. GT. I disagree. The rule states that using substitution to confuse the opponents is illegal. If you pass the numbers while players are substituting, then you must leave the field of play or come back across the numbers. He did neither, therefore it was illegal.

Never once have I said done anything more than state the facts.
Fact: Austin did not hold on this play.
Fact: Clemson completed a pass to set up at least a go ahead FG.
Fact: The make-up call on GT did not hurt them nearly as bad.
Fact: The loss doesn't mean anything at this point as we are ready to make up for it and then some in two weeks.

Actually Clemson had an illegal play in the 3rd quarter that resulted in a touchdown. They broke the same rule that Tech did.
So technically it is impossible to predict what "would have" happened.
