I love this Master Higgins sprite!!! I can't believe how Hudson could make such an awful game like Super Adventure Island after making that beauitful game named Adventure Island 4...

The SNES one was not bad...but to me it has the same problem MegaMan7 has.. large character sprite and cramped surroundings

The Turbo Grafix 16 has some damn good graphics and sound!

@hudshsoft @jlenoconel Why do you dislike SNES version. I think TG16 is one of the best Adventure Island version. So does SNES.

I also like the SNES version, but it's a bit too difficult and it's shorter than the Engine game. The music is far better on SNES.

@hudshsoft yes I also like music more on SNES. In this version last castle levels in the end of each stage reminds me about SMB.

Ah.... I just can't get enough TG16/PCE music. For some reason I find it very satisfying compared to much of the music on the Genesis and SNES.

@skunkkey666 nah only the first adv isl was a wb clone the rest is geniune original standalone games that share next to nothing in common with the other wb series. although this is a remake i would just point that out.

This was one of the first three games which i downloaded for my Wii (the other 2 were Vigilante and Bonk's Adventure)
