I can see how this beat Running Man. Both, were very good, and Running Man was better in the flow of editing, but this suited the song the whole way through.

I do agree on the judges on this one. "Running Man" is really impressive, in terms of its effects, flow and timing. It's really an eye candy. But for me it looked messy and lacked a general theme. "Midnight Carnival" on the other hand, used great effects to support his action-theme and atmosphere. Quality aside, it's a great video :P People just can't appreciate it 'cause they're used to "anime" footage than "game" footage and pictures.

I understand the people, who wanted Nostromo to win, but I think that this AMV is slightly better than the running man. Don't blame the judges, this AMV is better adjusted to the music than Nostromo's. This constantly reflects the music really well, while in Nostromo's case the effect's do not support the music throughout the video, but only sometimes. Judging AMV's ain't easy. If Nostromo and De29v101L would've to use the same song it would be much easier to decide on a winner.

This guy is my favorite editor,De29v101L,i saw his AKROSS entry for 2007 and it was kinda sloppy and within a single year he improved so much that he completely master that program,After effects. It was stunning.. and btw i extremely love this amv. ;) And how come this got 4.5/5?? that's retarded if you ask me mate.
