Yes, indeed; a true cannibal classic. Really sad what happens with the blonde girI Pat. I was a little bit disappointed and surprised that the cannibals hung her up by hooks through her pretty perky breasts. Somebody described Pat (Zora Kerova) as a debauched slut with a cute face, a tight body, and nipples that could cut a diamond. Without no doubt an attractive girl with really "tough titties".

@siggini Yeah...I think they could remake this one, because it was high camp to begin with, and although scenes like the slug and butterfly munching were grossly real, as well as Mike's castration and arm-chopping, others could benefit from a better budget...not so "Cannibal Holocaust." As Eli Roth said, "It's so low budget, you think it has to be real." The impaled girl is one of the iconic scenes in horror history, and I think it would actually look WORSE with a CGI budget.

In a weird way, it was smart to give away the most graphic scenes in the trailer...if you enjoyed that, you were into the movie anyway, and if you wondered what you were missing that they DIDN'T show, you were still going to show up. We need to remember, in '81, and XXX films, it's not like videos or 'net pirated copies were readily available...you had to go to Times Square or Boston's Combat Zone or the like to check it out. Piranha 3D only grossed 10 mil this weekend, because of Netflix,etc.

God bless spaghetti exploitation splatter films. This epic trailer is like a relic from a long lost era of film-making. Everything about this movie is wonderful - the gore, the music, the 'acting', the cinematography, John Morgan having the top of his head sliced off and his brains eaten like a boiled egg and the reckless taboo trashing glee of it all... AND THEN THEY... ATE HIS GENITALS! A true golden age of horror cinema classic.
