  • someone's been watching to much walking dead

  • i hate it when top comments are a reply to someones comment cus it means i have to look for that comment!

  • what is the product name of the lefthand bow ??

  • i really dont like the look of those bows, too much shit on them.

guess ill make one out of wood during the summer

  • I like how serene everything is

  • @blackasassin1 you buy a bow because they're QUIET. Try firing off rounds during the zombie apocalypse, you'll have a herd on you within minutes. With a bow/arrow, you can do a silent kill, move on, and no one's the wiser. Plus, you pull the arrow out of the zombie's skull and use it again!

  • what type of bows or those

  • @blakasassin1 you're an idiot

  • What a stupid video....why didn't you show how accurate you were shooting? Anyone shoot a arrow into the air....

  • im a 13 year old bow hunter and the reason you get a bow instead of a gun is for the thrill of the hunt i rifle is to easy

  • @xxxredearedsliderxxx yeah and bow season for deer is way longer and you have a better chance of seeing deer

  • why would you buy a bow? they proly cost as much as a gun..

if your gonna get a bow might aswell buy some good wood and learn to make one..

  • i hate compounds !!!!!

  • hi,i used to shoot bows as a kid,i want to take it up again as a pasttime hobby i live in the uk,im looking for amiddle price range bow,can anyone give me any recommendations of what to get and whats good for my price range,im looking for one upto £250 max.

    ty for any replies.

  • Ok

    1. They suck

    2.they use sights (sights=noobs)

    3. The way they shoot they were too humiliayed to show it.

  • @296192001 you are the noob since as i can see you dont know anything about archery

  • i hold a bow with my left hand and draw with my rite hand dose that mean i knead a left handed bow or a rite handed

  • @tigger00025 right handed

  • is the whopping great stick on the front (please no wiseass comments as im NOT talking about the arrow) some kind of counterweight?

  • Why are the Counter Weights so long?

  • @Dougbama12 when you shoot comp. the massive stabilizers help to balance and keep you steady so you can hit constant tens and X's

  • @wesley59999 ever saw a recurve match? they use those stabilizers as well ;)

  • @Sarthex yes a couple people i know shoot competition recurve FITA.

  • I love the bird track playing for the background lol

  • I think, that if I was shot by one of these, it would hurt

  • i used to shoot here with these guys about 10 years ago nothing changes brendons still punching his trigger lol

  • i can hit from a 65 yard range but no more, 80 yards bugger that lol, would give it a go 4 the lols.

  • what are the rods on the front for?

  • @MichaelkSimmons counter ballance.

  • @MichaelkSimmons There stabilizers :D

  • who cares how far they shoot...what matters is the grouping at the end. Why would they not include that part in their video?

  • These are competition shooters. It is typical for those distances. But for hunting,it wouldn't be advised..... LOL.

Anyway, how the hell can you see your bullseye that far?

  • Im going to make a video of shooting at 200yds but wont show you if I hit anything. Use your imagination, what a boring video.

  • Das ist super gut.....Video kenne ich aber von einer Web Seite....mal schauen ob ich den Platz irgendwo wieder finde xD.

Auf jeden fall...alle ins Gold Jungens.

    Lg.

    Tino

  • anything past 50 yards im using a gun, at 80 yards that's a big wait time to shoot a deer, but just saying

  • @Mauler2290 wait time wouldnt matter from that far it wouldnt relise wat the sound was untill its to late, get it while its head is down feeding and it wouldnt even relise the arrow was coming. only a few sec delay.

  • i cant even see the arow

  • It looks well over 80yds, camera perspective? 80yds & 70mtrs are nice ditances, 100yds & 90mtrs more challenging. I have a Hoyt Vantage which I rarely use, need to get out with it!

  • get a truth 2

  • yo lefty where did u get ur bow?

  • I wish they showed the grouping after they were done shooting.

  • @1archergirl they do its in another video

  • are you proud that you can shoot that far

  • I wished they showed the target how crappy they shot

  • robin hood aint got shit on this

  • someones not preparing for the 21st century...

  • Well I don't know about you but I find it harder to hold a 60lbs compound then a 60lbs longbow.

  • Wish you had shown where u hit. Second people who say bows take no skill can suck it you need to not only have strength but now how high to aim for the distance and how to hold stready.

For the people who say compound bow don't take as much skill I thought so to at first, but it takes just as much strength to use a compound bow as it does a regular one just you get more strength for size

  • That is incorrect. A traditional bow "loads up" on the shooter where the letoff on a compound bow allows the shooter to hold full draw without experiencing the overall draw weight.

  • No skill???? I am a rifle hunter I have never tried this but i can say one thing this would take a lot more skill then using a rifle bringing in your desired animal at 30 yards I think thats the real skill and remaining calm and getting a clean kill so you people that say no skill obviously dont know

  • lets see you shoot 80yd then you can talk

  • that's Bullshit

  • would have liked to see the grouping. the staby on the right seems too heavy, it sure falls fast after the release.

  • yep - dude on the right is a bottom fer sure!

  • the point of this video is if you practice from 80 yds. then you can kill from 80 yds like me ive killed at 60 70 and 80 yds. with 75 lb pse compound bow from 1997

  • killed what??? i shoot prairie dogs and rabbits at 80 yrds.... not that hard... i would never shoot a deer sized game at that distance tho ...

  • dang thats a big stabilizer probally cuz they are using shooting competion bows other than hunting equip

  • Stabilizers are ment to balance the bow out,

  • Yeh they should lift the center of gravity to stabilize the bow but large stabilizers on competition bows are meant to spread the weight out so that they are harder to move from side to side which means you're less likely to drift off the target whilst aiming.

  • do you know the difference in the meanings of "stable" and "balance"?

  • horrible video. what is the point of shooting at 80 yards if your not going to show the grouping. maybe the video was made to show your poor form.

  • the fag on the right is doing that gay wrist roll,, you dont hae to do that

  • is it just me or is there little or no control of the bow prior to release and immediately afterwards? i do understand that the arrow has left already but thought you should remain on target a fraction of a second longer and not expect or predict the arrow leaving.

  • sorry diddnt seeeee any target????? did they hit anything?/

  • the white thing...you know...far away...idiot

  • O I see; thats interesting.... Could you see the target? Its just you never show the result of the sprayed arrows at such a distance. Cock!

  • 80 yards is a fur piece!

  • cant u just bowhunt!!!

  • what are the sticks for?

  • The sticks at the end of the bows are a counter weight, they have that same weight as the arrows so when the arrow is knocked on the string the bow is perfectly balanced that way the hand holding the bow can be totally relaxed and thats why the bow falls after they shoot.

  • wow what a cumbersome thing to use when your going hunting

  • The sticks/stabilizers are totally not the weight of thr arrows.

  • they just absorb vibrations nothing big.but are esention if u want to win tournaments

  • they are called bow stabilizers that balance the bow left & right. It also absorbs the vibration when the arrows is released.

  • i bet the guy in the black cap got a hard on for his prolike shooting form

  • What is a hard on ?

  • A boner, an erection. Lol

  • whats the draw weight and let off on these bows?

  • just go hunting

  • you cant just "go hunting" your gonna miss and this is probably also there hobby like it is for me, i bet they both got hunting bows and hunt..

  • I don't think so guys... Bow hunting is illegal in the UK.

  • by the way the reezen his bow is dropping evry time is bcuz he isnt holding on to the bow which is the most accurate way to shoot a bow even if ur not steady, my bow shakes alot when i shoot but iv still won 2 pop up world championships so it doesnt really matter, hey guys shootn move to 120 yards and shoot its a little funner

  • do n e of u even shoot bow professionaly

  • wow u drop the bow when ur shooting retard

  • You havnt shoot a compound before then... ?

  • the guy on the right is really horriblel ook how much he moves while shooting. also when he shoots an arrow he swings his bow down which is the worst archery habbit ever..

  • well they do it in competitions so i guess your wrong

  • they do it in Olympics infact...

check out some of the videos

  • i no it's wierd too.

  • do you know how long it takes for the arrow to be totally free of the bow, its super fast dude you cant even see it so, there just letting down right after it leaves the bow, its not bad at all, i like to keep my bow arm up though when i release i can see where the arrow hit on the target so i know okay move to the right or left or see if the arrow kicks out and stuff.

  • lmao, i just shoot in my garden, so thats like epic range for my bow XD would have to try barage it XD

i need some new limbs. =) recurve ftw!

  • what happend to the good old longbow ?

  • Right? Seriously, where's my copper dagger and flintlock musket! Damn you technology! With your 'improvements' and your 'effectiveness'!

  • a compound bow wont survive a week in the woods

  • You know, I could sit here making random, boisterous, sourceless claims too, but I'm not.

  • oh shut the fuck up

  • Oh man, sure is grade-school in here today. I tell you what, you actually go out on the range someday with something other than an airsoft gun, and someone might value your opinions.

  • It never shows the target

  • i dont like that big long thing at the end of the bow lol...i know it may be for aiming but..its annoying lol

  • its not really for aiming, its called a stabilizer and it absorbs some of the shock from shooting it, they dont have to be so long.. hunters use really short ones, but target archers use long ones

  • ah yeah i figured that out like after i watched a couple of videos and looked it up, i guess it's pretty cool after all

  • I live in MO and it legal to posses a crossbow here as long as you don't hunt with it without permit.

Can the government confiscate my crossbow in times of social unrest, martial law, (hurricane Catharine) etc. I don't own any fire weapon but I'd like to owe a crossbow. But I get the feeling that if I buy it, the gov will probably know I have it, and then they can bust my door, steal my bow, and label me a terrorist

  • good question,

the government is becoming less interactive with bow laws, and are even lessing laws already implemented.

    Firearms are a differnet story.

  • their has to be someone that agrees with me compounds have a set everything and a pulley system so u don't need much effort and u can hold it back forever so all u have to do is line up and shoot

  • that's true

Compound takes MUCH less skill than a Long Bow

  • u r terrible get a life

  • Technology man, it improves shit. Bows probably evolved from the atlatl, as a way to proper spear-like objects anyway. You could pick that up.

  • Amazing how everyone here has negatives in the comments, what ever idiot is doing that, please quit, you spineless prick, stabilizers are garbage, once that arrow leaves the front of the bow, its all up to the arrow.

  • yes that is true, but you also need to realise the physics thats going on *AS* the arrow is leaving the bow, once you release, the bow shakes, nd a stabilizer keeps the bow from shaking enough to alter the trogectory of the arrow. Especially at a distance like this

  • there are still guys like byron furgeson who can split arrows with a long bow, he did that on the history channel. i can see what you are saying though, i still dont use one though.

  • well that is all up to your tastes, and what feels best for you, i personally love the feel of a stabilizer, when used with a finger sling. The combination just feels very fluid to me and now im so used to them, i wouldnt be able to shoot without the two.

  • well that sucks then. pointless to just shoot a target. i could shoot this far with a fuckin long bow

  • i like to see you guys go out and hunt with these big ass stablizers. anybody can shoot that far with all those attachments on your bow.

  • Good thing they didn't invest all that stuff for hunting then huh. They use it for what they were designed for, nothing else.

  • Thay don't have to worry about shooting animals, because I'm sure they scare them all away with thier quads anyways.

    Traditional Only!

  • cmon thats just gay

  • 500 bux says this guy can out shoot you, faggot

  • all that matters is hitting a 8 inch target 20 yards away in any position, from any degree. oh and faggot bows are meant for killing shit not shooting ragets

  • another batch of gay target shooters

  • thats britain dude lol. bowhunting is ilegal in britain

  • Yeah because shooting poor defenseless animals is so much more badass. -.-

  • ditch the scopes and then ill be impressed

  • was like watching a hunting show that had no ending... prove to me you can hit the spot at 80 yards with your expensive target bow. Show us the targets after you shot, unless of course you were just showing us proper form, then it was a great vid. Dave

  • why didn't we see the target afterwards? they could have just been shooting at the ground.

  • well said

  • player red and player blue is all i see

  • Those things are bad ass shot one today.

  • New Rambo!

  • Hey guys im 14 and gonna get a bow do u have any reccomendations about what i should get

  • It depends on your budget, traditional bows made from various woods like Longbow, Flatbow or even Kyudo bows are more affordable and are easier to maintain as well as having cheaper arrows. Recurve and Compound can get very expensive very qiuckly and although there are usually budget options available the bows are usually low qaulity, put simply if you want a good qaulity bow it could put you out of pocket qiute a bit.

  • hey thanks man 1 more thing how much did ur bows cost just so i can have a price range

mines bout 600 bucks thats my limit

  • I dont shoot Compound personally its hard to give a good estimate, especially if you live in America. The Mathews Switchback you see here was around 350-400 pounds, but it was more expensive due to the shooter using it being left handed. I would suggest you look at huntersfreind . com for more info if you are interested in shooting a compound bow.

  • @fromtheotherside456

I suggest you get yourself a lovely longbow :D

or some nice samick outlander or something.

    Those bows are lovely! :)

    Good luck!

  • What compound would you say is a good beginners bow? Im hoping to move on from recurve, as I prefer the technialities of compound- though the price tag does put me off, admitedly.

  • Fred Bear makes great bows, especially for the price. ive been shooting my bow for over a yr now and its been amazing...browning also makes very good bows if your looking for a lower cost. honestly, if you want a good setup that you can expand on (by that i mean add stuff, increase poundage, etc etc,) ur going to have to pay around $400-$500 anything cheaper will be just the bow or a piece of junk. go check out a local archery store if possible and see what they have to say

  • In a lot of ways a bow is a bow, Just get a year or two old model (DONT GET USED)- many "new" models are extremely similar or exactly the same. Dont let the new camo pattern fool you

  • dude r u like the archery expert? not trying to be mean though. i read ur coments in other archery videos. i like archery wanna be friends?

  • I would recomend a small compound bow.

    Or join a club.

  • man you shouldve shown the grouping

  • I have another video called Compound Bow 80 Yards Score, I would have edited the footage together but Im not really into film making. I just posted this for fun.

  • the target was blank lol, they missed every shot haha jk

but that last shot was sad...

  • the guy on the left when he gets another arrows he spins around and shit thinks hes cool hope he takes his eye out

  • He'll be awake at night thinking about your cruel words.

  • what's that pole on their bow?

  • stabalizer. its like a big weight to make it easier to steady at full draw length

  • ah, ok. Thanks

  • How much weight and let off are yall running?

  • Does n e 1 know how far an arrow can fly dead straight shot from a 60lb compound bow?

And did these guys do n e thing to their bows to make it shoot further?

  • It looks like the guy in the red shirt is having some probs drawing his bow. A bit too heavy for him??

  • well i dont know cuz i stick out my chest but i dont like put my bow way up in the air lol the chest thing for me is more of a thing that helps me shoot

  • dude guys wat! i can shoot 7 arrows in less den 30 secs! can u imagine!

  • What?? You get 4 mins to shoot 6 arrows! I cant even shoot 7 arrows in 30secs.

  • Looks like the guy in the red needs a longer stabiliser or heavier weight - his bow is kicking back on release.

  • You got a big enough stabilizer on that thing? Hahaha.

  • wow that was terrible

  • rofl all this talk about classic over compound is funny.

if you really want to go classic get a rock and throw it. thats would be the first projectile ever used. so compared to that a classic bow is a machine.

  • Yes, Im sure you can hit a dime and I do show the results, Its in another video called Compond Bow 80 yards score. Try using your eyeballs.

  • Looks like the guy on the right wasn't too happy with his shots. Just banged up my index finger on my Bowtech cause I just had an inch to pull it back and look through the peep.. well Im not one to dry fire and @ 62lbs its not the easiest thing to :Just Let Go: Checking out the score video next.

  • Thats Brendan for you, he's a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to....anything I guess. He did'nt want me to put this video up becuase he was'nt at his best, big cheater that he is.

  • MATHEWS forever, and ever. Hard to beat my outback!!

  • i know this is gonna sound stupid but i always wanted to get into archery and im going to buy a compound bow.. but they llok so complex.. (heres the stupid part) how do u load the arrows and why all the strings?

  • You load it the same as any bow.The strings work with the cams.Kind of like pullys,to increase speed and power, and provide let off.

  • One of the Bows looks like a PSE Thunderbolt or Mach X.

  • longbows found on the ship mary rose had draw weights of 200lbs lol

  • bulshit isnt that like a gun

  • Longbows with a draw weight of 200lb were'nt used for target shooting like this, they were mainly seige bows used for shooting over high castle walls or for large scale battles.

  • can arrows penetrate body armor?

  • Yes, in fact the target we are shooting at is foam layers with a Kevlar sheet on the pack to stop the arrows going all the way through. But I dont know if it would peirce full blown SWAT or Army armor.

  • It will penetrate soft armor without any trouble but if a vest has a plate, I personally don't think it would go through. You'd have to have a pretty powerful bow and some heavy arrows. Recurve style long bows, like the japanese ones, with period arrows would probably do some nice damage though.

  • WHAT IS MOST POWERFUL COMPOUND BOW?

  • Bow tech bows and the truth is really powerfull.

  • ah sorry PSE X-Force is the most powerfull compund bow. its 348 fps.

And If you wonder what crossbow is the most powerfull, then its the stryker its 405 fps.

  • yep hes right
