Random Video: Minecraft MCedit map editor

For some reason when I load up any world, all I get is a blank map, and I can only see stars, the points where the sun and moon should be, a Steve head, and complete nothing-ness of black. (excluding the stars) is it not loading the blocks? for what reason? I have explored the area, and I haven't had luck with most level editors (Amnesia: The Dark Descent as example) Does anyone know a solution?

@TheTaltiko if your pick make a new map thats what happens. MC edit won't load areas that you havn't already explored in minecraft.

@bmnccrazed load up the world that you used it in. go find were you shot it. (the blocks that represent the portal should be purple blocks(or just odd colored thing)) select them and delete.

@vobopop yes. 1. find your .minecraft folder 2. Make a copy of the world which you wish to publish. 3. if your sending it to a friend you can send the folder. 4. If your uploading to somewhere make the folder a .rar (compress it) then upload it.

@Reblotic some objects appear as colored boxes. Ex Fences (i don't know if they still do) appeared as pink solid boxes. But i don't know why it would make your mcedit go slow.

Hey mate, no offense but your Tutorial is a bid hard to follow... I mean you're talking about tons of stuff which are unnecessary and you should show ppl which buttons you mean because it's not always easy to follow your explaining. You should add some texes and maybe even some pictures. Sounds stupid I know, but it helps alot.
