This show was a freaking breath of fresh air to those of us who couldn't relate to having doctors, lawyers, and movie stars for parents. I have tremendous amount of respect for Roseanne for this brilliant contribution to society.

I love roseanne and I understand her situation, but, you really cannot "bargain" or "bribe" your manager into working on your schedule something "convenient" for YOU. With jobs like that, you are given your "Schedule" you can't really choose what YOU want. She tried to "bribe" him w/ dan fixing his shop project and it blew up in her face. Goes to show you, bribing does not work. lol

@moluvzme She shouldn't have had to bribe. If she was hired under the understanding that she wasn't available weekends then her employer was obligated to stick with that arrangement. You're right that with these types of jobs you usually get what you get but you should be able to expect what was originally agreed upon. In other words, Her boss is a snotty little high school twerp on a power trip with no idea what it is to be an adult and have a family.
