I know about Dresden & it's lack of strategic importance in the war effort. I don't have any statement that can really address your (quite justified) retort. @TheSchemer1 Also, whilst Tony Blair did actually quite good when it came to domestic policy (banning smoking in public, tough on crime, unemployement decreasing etc) and it was because of his charisma that Labour won several elections, up until Gordon Brown stepped up in the Prime Ministry. Churchill however didnt really seem to have any proper food or domestic policy I mean, he was a brilliant "war" prime minister (strong-willed, decisive etc) but domestically and morally he sucked.

The iraq war was a fuck up, but he helped with peace in Northern Ireland, spread awareness on climate change, introduced the minimum wage, helped the working class, improved education, improved the NHS and more importantly modernized the country.

@pharry4life he has not "done" much because he realized that the majority would be furious with any actual change. Clinton had for years screamed for healthcare, and had support, but when Obama approached the healthcare, he was attacked from both sides. He realized that to do anything, he'd lose much more supporters than he'd ever gain.
What did Bush do? Besides the two wars??? AND in EIGHT years??? People say "what did he do" as if they want a bullited list.
