  • 1992 was a great year for me...but apparently, not so great for television.

  • Oh man I used to love Billy. It was on right after Roseanne. Jesus, Johnny Galecki has been on tv going on 20 years now!

  • The only show I recognize is Billy

  • Billy and Julie are the only two of those shows that I remember...

  • Did anyone else notice some of the names in "Fish Police"? What a cast! Music by James Horner? Hard to believe all that talent on a silly cartoon.

Also, Eriq LaSalle "pre-ER" on another hospital show "The Human Factor".

  • Did anyone else notice some of the names in "Fish Police"? What a cast! Music by James Horner? Hard to believe all that talent on a silly cartoon.

  • My mother remembers Scorch, and yet she has no memory of LA Law.

  • Billy! I loved that show and was so sad that they cancelled it. I love that he named his plant Robert. :)

  • Only saw two of these shows; Nightmare Cafe (which I loved!) and Mann & Machine (which was ok). Never heard of ANY of the others.

  • no reality tv, oh how I long for the good old days.

  • I loved the Powers That Be and Nightmare Cafe. Fish Police looks interesting. I wish that there was a channel specifically for reairing short lived TV shows.

  • These shows were short-leved I remember Scorch and Fish Police, both of which aired on CBS Saturday Night. "Billy"...a failed spinoff of sorts to Head of the Class

  • The Powers that Be was so awesome...

  • "Billy" was brilliant; especially the pilot when he came in with his potted plant, Robert.

  • This stuff is so great; thanks for posting

  • Your life is better because of this video!

  • oh my god I remember the Fish Police show...

  • whoever put all this together must have a LOT of free time!

  • Was Scorch a real show? WTF?

  • 8:51 show was originally called "I want to RIDE my horse"

  • Say, I remember 'Scorch'. Ah, memories. Thank you very much indeed for the upload!

  • Really...the dragon show...????WTF! I don't even remember that!!!

  • shit where was I in 92?? I don't rememebr ANY of these either!

  • @Grogie4dagurlz Glad I am not the only one as well/ I actually still watched TV back then too

  • Man, I think these intros jump-started some old memories of mine! I think I remember that dragon puppet show "Sorch"! 1992 almost seems like a different universe--nearly all of these shows wouldn't last a moment on TV, today, imo.

  • oh my!!

just randomly stumbled over these videos.

So I was born in '91, haven't seen much of those shows :D

I'm really into Big bang theory and who is it I see in this video?

    Johnny Galecki, Lennard in TBBT.

  • I happened to catch The Nightmare Cafe marathon on the Chiller channel a few months ago. It was a pretty good show.

  • I loved this Man & Machine so much - inique but soooooo underrated. David Andrews and Yancy Butler were brilliant!

    The 90's were the best

  • if Hollywood claims to be running out of ideas and has a hard on for remakes they should look at these clips and besides if I wanted to see z list celebs like us I'd turn on my local news

doing some of these shows would bring back real TV if done right is it me or does anyone miss those shows with the family a pet and some wacky seniero shit bring back the good ol sitcom and action show

  • why were these shows so short lived? nightmare cafe and Fish Police look pretty cool

FIsh Police does sound like a cheesy title though would be cool if some fans took over that cartoon and it became fan made

and all these shows onto a DVD box set series called short lived and have them done for each decade of short lived TV

who knows maybe they'd get remade and be successful if so they should get their own network not NBC = New Shows Being Cancelled

  • Thank God The Powers that Be and The Human Factor got cancelled or John Mahoney and David Hyde Pierce wouldn't have been available to do Frasier!

  • That frame advancementment on the still shots makes me laugh everytime. It is so cheesy.

  • I don't remember half these shows, and I watched a lot of TV in 1992!

  • This is awesome thanks 4 uploading
