Katarina may have been less artistic, but artistry is only one piece of the puzzle...Sasha was the biggest choker in skating. She was a GORGEOUS skater, but certainly not a true campion like Witt. Not even in the same league!

Her 'West Side Story' Free programme in 1987 was one of the best I have ever seen, even better than her Carmen in 88. Also, how do you think Sasha Cohen would have coped with the intensity of Compulsory Figures?

@Appaddict01 Not only do I absolutely agree, but if she had gotten those 10 extra points in the short program she would have won the gold medal at the olympics despite the falls in the long program. She could rack up points on her incredible style, positions and superior control of execution and connecting steps.

She's so freaking talented. It's a shame she gets a bad rep because of her inconsistency because when she's on, she's magic. Those spirals are flawless and her spins are beautiful. Her jumps are so pretty in the air and the landing position is just impeccable. Her flexibility and artistry make her one of the prettiest skaters I've ever seen. This performance proves that....pure magic.

I love Sasha..just watched her on project runway and she is so pretty and despite the comments about her being a snot..she is a lovely young woman with an incredible talent. @faeryquene I think with Sasha, the fact that she was always the underdog and that she was known for her mistakes makes people forget that when she was on, she was one of the best. Her talent and her grace get lost because the "story" of Sasha's mistakes takes center stage. I blame the media.
