Thanks you mapper for kindly commenting on my video about your great uncle, George Beurling (Canada's top fighter-pilot ace of WWII). I definitely see you have picked up your great uncle's prowess. George Beurling was a man of great adventure and like you faced the odds of sudden death and yet succeeded. Continue to enjoy your adventure.
Hey, M - I remember the fun of coming down through scree off of Mt Fisher a couple of decades ago. I also remember how it took darn near a week after that lengthy, all-day mosey to the summit and back, to recuperate; knees in particular. hope you & wifey-pooh are doing swell after your hiking adventures. thanks for sharing them. MM ps- the stream looked like a real 'Ahhh...' moment, eh. ; )
Nice video, I like the sepia looking old fashioned twist that you did there. I'm wondering where abouts this was?

I've been hiking in Switzerland a few summers ago, mountain streams everywhere, brings back memories.

mountain streams are lovely! certainly a welcome sight after a long hot day of hiking.
i've never had the chance to go to switzerland, did you find the trails very crowded there or was it pretty decent?

oh yeah, the stream was awesome! my feet were kinda swolen and hot because it was over 30 degrees that day and the cold water was just like heaven!
my knees used to be worse but over the past couple of years they seem to have gotten better again, so now i can get back to abusing them :D LOL!
yep, we're doing well thanks! you're welcome! i hope that you enjoy the vids as they appear:)
