MANY riffs by megadeth are downpicking only, it creates a different sound when you up pick, if you knew anything about playing then you wouldve know that. Even for soloing, this guy has a personal preference to down pick, i like down picking, its like a trophy when you can do it fast.

Another thing, Syn's guitar isn't exactly stripes, it's a black background with this white streaks that have...a bit of a gray on them, giving the effect that the white washes into the black a bit.

Actually, if you really listen close, there are some parts, where, may it be on purpose or by a slip, he does commit some up strokes and down strokes flowing together to create alternate picking...needs to use alternate picking more often, however, cover was phenomenal on just the basis that he was able to play the entire solo bit, while keeping up and not missing a single note, with mostly down strokes. Good job, Kucza! Keep it up!
