Also, if this 'package' is so important, then why did the Director fire Invention's MAC cannon without knowing if the agents were safe or the package had been secured? I know he's a dickhead, but come on man! You could have killed them or destroyed the package.

So, like the Spartans, the Freelancers seemed originally designed as counter-insurgents but were later used to fight the Covenant. I don't know if the war has started yet, but if it hasn't, why do the Insurrectionisits have all this Covvie tech? How did they get it? Where?

What you gotta understand is that RvB is like a cartoon, and Donut's got way more super-main-character-death-imm­unity than Maine does, he's been in the story from the first season, whereas Maine was introduced much later on to be a villain for a story arc. Season 10 is apparently going to be the last season if I've heard correctly, so if he doesn't appear, suffice to say the writers intend for him to be finished. just gotta wait for season 10 to reveal everything

However, by design S10 is NOT going to be the end, Burns has gone on record as saying that he never intends to stop Red vs. Blue while there's breath in his body.

With him would be other characters/villans that would each have a story of surviving their "deaths" like Lopez, Sister, South, Meta, and possibly others. These 5 people have something in common. One thing that may have happened to form a great force that potentially could destroy the Reds, Blues, Freelancers, and even the UNSC.  Wash. And we all know what that means!

It had 3 things the Xbox version a year before didn't (other than maps) ranked in order of awesomeness: the Fuel Rod Gun, the original Rocket Hog, and (best of all) a flamethrower you could actually move with! You could move at normal speed! You could melee with it! YOU COULD ACTUALLY TURN FAST ENOUGH TO REACT TO THINGS (though that might've been a problem with 3's auto aim)!

@ProjectXA3 that is true, and the only reason i said halo 3 was because it had better skin. if it was possible, i want the fuel rod gun with battery not rods, original rocket hog not the weak ass reach one and First person flamethrower :D but it was pretty cool though in halo 3 where you exited 1st person so you could see yourself walk around with it. i didn't play halo 2 that much so i don't really know :P

Maine lived through all that. Remember the trailer for season 9? It starts out with them rushing Maine to the sick bay and saying that he'll never speak again. Also remember in the fight scene Maine is shot in the neck and face multiple time which would explain this.
