Good job! Though for some helpful advice, when the song builds up musically, make sure you answer that with pivotal scenes/effects like at 0:37 and 1:25 to make greater impacts in your AMV.
You are doing wonderful on all else here. Your scene movement and your scene choices are really good.
The key is to understand the emotion of the music and try to portray that as best you can.
I only like to take the time to give criticism when I see a lot of potential in a person to begin with.

No problem! I have similar problems as well. I personally don't have a head for beats and following the music very well. It is something that I had problems with in the past and am still working on work on it now. So I can understand.
