It's not that simple. You should check research papers, news which discussing pitching injuries. The cause of this injury (loss of ROM) also leads to relating injuries, such as: bone chips, bone spur....etc.
After all, I have to remind everyone who's willing to discuss under this thread.
Please don't use any foul language, or I would remove the comment function of this video, and you're encouraged to discuss somewhere else.

@jvb3434 And I'm not trying to make comebacks, I'm just telling you don't argue with someone's mechanics if it works for some people. Stop being a know it all prick and acting like you know more than everyone else, I never tried to say I was. Seriously, unless you're a major league pitcher or a scout, shut the fuck up. You don't know any more than anyone else
@jvb3434 I only brought up Kerry Wood because YOU mentioned his name first of all. And about him still being in the big leagues. He is now 0-2 with an 11.05 ERA. I don't know what point you tried to make with Kerry Wood, other than the fact he throws his arm out and is a shell of what he used to be. It doesn't matter how fast you throw, I am talking about being an effective pitcher over a long period of time WITHOUT getting injured. (See Mariano Rivera)
@jvb3434 He said after a season he couldn't move his arm the same. Kerry Wood is a bad example, considering he's had a list of problems with his arm. Kerry Wood is a joke now compared to himself in 98. Besides, I'd always listen to a reliever who set what, 3 major league records?
I don't even get your comment. Also, your name is Gmaddux who didn't use the 'Marshall' technique, explain that one. Look up Chris O'Leary or the Driveline Mechanics website, they use Maddux as the simply the best example of a pitching motion and they have implied countless times Marshall is a propaganda speaker which blows smoke and inadvertently forces people to lose sight of the true the pitching motion.
Last time I checked he was stating that he a pitching that was successful that had loss of extension range of motion in his pitching arm. He stated his stats because all you seem to just care about are people in the big leagues "but let's not name him the second coming of Christ until his followers actually make it to the bigs with that horrendous pitching motion." So he was letting you know that he was dominating.
The guy knows a great about pitching, but let's not name him the second coming of Christ until his followers actually make it to the bigs with that horrendous pitching motion . Also, I would like to know how bragging about your statistics relates to the "proper pitching motion."
This is the cause bad mechanics.

@jrainey141
How do you define "bad mechanics"?

Very informative video.
Metriks' FCE software allows the healthcare professional to objectively quantify and report on a person's functional abilities.

@jvb3434 3.71 ERA is shitty, especialy for a reliever.
Mo has a career ERA of 2.25 K Rod has a career ERA of 2.50
I hope you weren't being sarcastic when you said he sucks
