  • Does growth in Scientology validate it? The Catholic church experienced growth during the Dark Ages and Middle Ages because it kept people in the dark and twisted or hid info. Lay people weren't even thought to be intelligent enough to understand the book. And just like Scientology, Roman Church made much money from selling indulgences, icons, and medals, and using relics of "saints" to heal people. if you disagreed with popes, they had you silenced. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  • ANother example of Scientology misleading people is their "cross" symbol. It's meant to make Christians believe that Scientology is "christian" and that this symbol is a "cross." But then Scientologists admit this is NOT a cross but won't admit that it is a variant of a Rosicrucian Cross used by the (pagan) order of Rosicrucians and was a variant of another cult order founded by the devil-worshipper, Aleister Crowley. The Bible says...people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

  • oh such fun but i have better things to do....like get people into Dianetics and Scientology so they can be freed from the drivel you bathe in

  • Here's some stats L. Ron Hubbard awarded three Guinness World Records in the past three years: Most published works by a single author: Most translated author in the world: 71 languages. Number of individuals completing Dianetics and Scientology counseling and courses doubled in the past two years. Total number of counseling hours doubled in the past decade. Total number of people newly introduced to Scientology and starting on training or counseling doubled in the past five years..need i go on

  • @9tEjk Yes, you do, because you've presented no hard numbers. Specifically, how many new Scientologists have been joining the Church? How many Clears and OTs are being produced?

The Church specifically avoids discussion of these hard numbers because they can't back them up. For example, they claim 8 million members worldwide. But the latest Religious Identification Survey in 2008 shows 25,000 in the US, home to the greatest concentration of Scientologists.

  • @mackiesyotub I think you will find that it is 25,000 – 35,000 cult members maximum WORLDWIDE and that is being generous. They are pathological liars and extremely brainwashed and manipulated. L Ron Hubbard was a fraud and a phoney. Scientology doesn’t deliver and it takes all of your money. Need I go on?

  • @9tEjk Your stats are useless considering that means nothing right now, when everything bad about your satanic cult is being exposed and people are running away quicker then ever. Nobody is stupid enough to fall for this pyramid scam anymore, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I hope one day you can open your eyes and realize that, move on with your life and start over. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but it's something you will one day realize.

  • Maybe it did double from about 1,000 to 2,000. It is still a cult that is bleeding members. Many are leaving because of the management, many just can't take it after paying major bucks for OT III and then realize that they DO expect you to believe the Xenu story that they are constantly denying. lol With the bucks they extort from members, they can afford to translate Hubbard's drivel into many different languages. Makes no difference, nobody will read them.

  • @9tEjk fake and gay

  • @elendir8 dont bother, the account is closed. They always do this, yell and run

  • oh..had to add..quote "However, it steadfastly refuses to provide one SINGLE PIECE OF EVIDENCE to support these claims, such as number of members, services sold, anything." Go to freedom mag and look at the article "The true face of Scientology" . That's the evidence which shows we are BOOMING and why there is more noise coming from dissaffected people etc...it's called signs of success and it shows WE ARE WINNING =D.....now I'll leave you alone...

  • U guilty p o s.....Ive been in scientology for over 10 years and I have been in the Sea Org and never once did I hear of or see violence......Disconnection is a last resort if a person is not willing to allow one to be active in Scn...actually go and see the references to UNDERSTAND what it means..dont take a half baked journalistic viewpoint with bitter ex members.

  • @9T3JK Interesting that your idea of communication is to come on here and hurl insults at people that you don't even know. What exactly am I supposed to be guilty of?

Did you even watch the story? It never said that people in the Sea Org in general were beaten, just that this took place at Scientology's International Base (and the Church itself says that violence did indeed take place there).

Last resort or not, disconnection breaks up families and the Church denies it exists.

  • @mackiesyotub you post this video and it insults millions you douche bag. I know Rinder via family, If you go to freedommag and look at the merchants of chaos/SP times article, this tells the real story though you will deny this. The article speaks of who actually did the beatings. Scientology has boomed since this scum was removed. Enough said

  • @9T3JK There we go with the insults again! I see Scientology has certainly helped you hone your communication skills!

First of all, there aren't millions of Scientologists out there to insult, and second, you just demonstrated that you didn't watch any of the stories. AC360 didn't air one critical word about the beliefs of Scientologists; the allegations are about mistreatment of members. Third, Scientologists aren't allowed to watch any critical stories, so how can they be insulted by it?

  • @mackiesyotub that insult's called freedom of speech...chose to ban me from posting too..gutless..check the stats of any org to see that we are booming. The org i go to has highest ever courseroom completions, auditing hours and more clears so far this year than last year which was 4 and it will be doubled by years end. I will leave you to your games. It's recommended that we don't watch them. But I don't give a hoot..I like to know what goes on. Only way to really see the truth, and u ain't it

  • @9tEjk I actually blocked you by accident, I apologize for that, I've now unblocked you.

I just favorited a video from someone who tried to independently verify the claims of the Washington DC "Ideal Org" regarding the amount public they have. Keep in mind when you watch this that donations were regged for this org on the basis that their previous facilities were insufficient for the vast amounts of public supposedly coming in. You can decide for yourself.

  • @mackiesyotub where did i say it was critical about the beliefs..u seeing things that aint there punchy?? Or making things up to suit your own agenda...

  • @9tEjk You said that millions of Scientologists would be insulted by this story. I'm not sure why they would be insulted if their beliefs weren't being called into question.

The series deals mainly with the question of whether or not DM abused his subordinates. I would think that individual Scientologists would be concerned with this issue, just as good Catholics are concerned when a priest is alleged to have committed wrongdoing.

  • @mackiesyotub Impossible, there aren't "millions" of scientologists in the world. That's such a skewed number. They take every single person who ever had a "personality" test or got 1 audit and bounced the cult as a scientologist. They're stats are severely skewed. The recent census showed that they have under 100k members in the entire world, and I even think that number is exhaggerrated.

  • @9tEjk I'm critical of the beliefs. It's a big pyramid scam and there is no "tech". It was always a money making scheme and these poor people will never realize it so long as they're stuck in their cult world. So be it, I'm not here to change anyone believe anything. Free country, go ahead and believe. Just don't bullshit the current state of the church, which is faultering and falling faster then you can say cult.

  • @9T3JK I have read the Church's exhaustive and vituperative response via their Freedommag site (note for those of you inclined to do so, their site does collect ip addresses). All the Church said in response to this series and the SP Times stories is that everyone who claims Miscavige beat his subordinates is lying and that the journalists who reported the stories are bad people. COS also shamefully uses material from these individual's "confessionals" to attempt to discredit them.

  • @9T3JK Finally, the Church claims that it is "booming" and experiencing "explosive growth." However, it steadfastly refuses to provide one SINGLE PIECE OF EVIDENCE to support these claims, such as number of members, services sold, anything. Yet they use these claims to hit their members of for donations to support the purchase and renovation of new buildings, which largely sit empty once they're completed.

Why don't you do your own independent research before you start attacking people?

  • @mackiesyotub it's the people on the video i was referring to as guilty though you'd have your fair share of unknown crimes...that i can guarantee

  • The Witches of Clearwater

  • It's interesting the similarity between Scientology victims mental states and Stockholm syndrome.

  • This stuff makes me so sad. Scientology is a sinister cult run by cruel, vicious fraudsters.

  • Those women are capital-C Creepy. The Witches of Xenuwick.

  • What do they mean no proof? What about Tory's letter? What about their own teaching materials? The fact that both sides confirm abuse and the police were never called ... wow, that's considerable weight right there.

  • The sadness in the ex-wives' voices is almost heartbreaking. You can almost see their internal battle. It worked so well in the rehearsals, but it's harder to hide your true feelings when the pressure is on.

  • lots of smoke, got to be a fire somewhere!

  • How much longer can the cult stand? More people come forward all the time, and the media fear is dissolving.

  • The wife of Hawkins is such a bad liar is makes me cringe. Talk about over-acting, scientology really should have invested in better acting coaches before the show.

  • OMG! These bitches are such liars! Thank goodness these men got away from them, and that stupid CULT!
