@bigsteamfan It's called advertising and you wouldn't even knew there was an iPad if it was not for ads... In fact most companies you like spend hunderds more times than Blendtec for ads, but I don't think you are willing to tell them to rot in prison! It's in fact a CHEAP way of advertising, they destroy pretty cheap things (on a company's scale) and they just go viral... So, really, this is not a waste but a money saving technic. Now go back and play with your new iPad ;-)

The iPad is way over hyped. I mean, if I want to read a book, I'll just go buy a REAL book, it's much cheaper and doesn't require batteries, and I won't look like an idiot who can't read actual books.
As for the other features, I have an iPod touch for that, and I can carry it around in my pocket.
I guess the only reason I would buy the iPad is to blend it...
