I feel like having a good historical background makes the AC games more memorable. I am 16 and in AP World History ( going into AP European History next year), and having a good understanding of the places and people in the game, such as the Haji Sophia, and Niccolo Polo make it that much more enjoyable.

I used to be frustrated about this game when I first played it. No more easy counter kills, everybody has freakin guns or bombs, and the killing the captains in the dens are pain in the ass. Then as I played along, I started to like this game more and more, and now I freaking love this game. I guess ubisoft didn't do a good job on the tutorial parts. I didn't know that I could do counter steal and counter throw until I read the Manual when I almost finished the whole game. Then It got fun!

I didn't enjoy this video because I had to listen to him complain a bunch about this game. Personally, I've enjoyed all the parts of Assassin's Creed: Revelations I've seen so far. I'm enjoying watching through these walkthroughs greatly.

I gotta say though that it appears that Ray is trying to make it through the game with the minimum of immersion, relying mainly on his gaming skills.

I've seen little or no Calling of Assassins even though the game often suggested doing so.

If the Assassin Dens and Recruitment were played more then perhaps the game would play more fluidly and Ray might enjoy it more.

@CJArambe I don't know which system your playing the game on but on xbox360 to disarm the men you need to lock onto your target using the RT button, then when your target moves towards you to attack you, hold the RT button and press the X button at the same time that should work for you.

I'll admit that rome is easier to navigate based on landmarks, and I can find my way to almost anywhere in brotherhood without use of the map, but you can't say there aren't any landmarks in Constantinople. The Hagia Sofia, the Sultan's Palace, the Docks, the Galata Tower, etc etc.

While I do agree that rome had more landmarks, it doesn't appear to be too difficult to navigate through Constantinople.

Purple would probably only be expensive in Europe and the west. Constantinople is on the border between europe and asia, and as the colour purple would probably be created by indigo, grown in asia, they wouldn't have had to spend too much for it, I wouldn't have thought :P

Purple is made in the east with indigo, but in the west (especially in the middle ages, and leading up to the Renaissance) the purple color was made by a certain sea snails. It would take A HELL OF A LOT of them to be able to dye even a single cloak. Naturally, it took a lot of effort and labor collecting them all. And since it took so many of these snails to dye a single article of clothing, only nobles could afford them.

This is why purple is considered a regal color.

I think most folks feel that way. Learning is fun and enjoyable when it's not mandatory or compulsory. I was homeschooled for 2nd grade. It was the best time during my schooling years. I learned at my own pace, I enjoyed what I learned, I had plenty of freetime, and best of all- when I returned to school next year for third grade, I was practically a genius.

I don't see how you can complain about these things when you say "Ezio didn't want to climb this here..." etc, it may be a bug with the game but can easily avoided if you're not so awkward when you climb and jump etc. A lot of the things you do makes me grit my teeth.

Just saying, I still love the walkthrough, I just think you complain a tiny bit too much, seeing as bugs like this have been in every Assassins Creed.
