If your phone gets messed up, you can simply use webOS Doctor to reset it. Really, it is nearly impossible to brick your pre, but if you plan on getting a pre, go to precentral . net and read up. You will seriously love this phone. I've had it since launch day and have hacked it and patched it up and down. Most fun I've ever had with a phone.

you may have to turn mytether but then enable dchp or w/e. then turn off your phone and turn it back on.
