@Lawrencetom2 The son is as good a lyricist and in that develops the best of a style continuous with Bob, one particular style of Bob's lyrics, clear & direct, rather than the convoluted, coded stuff. The son's voice is quite good. If you listen to Bob's Nashville Skyline and at least most of New Morning, you see Dylan, Sr. could sing quite well in conventional terms. The son has greater melodic talent too. Great heirs to greatness excel by being similar and at the same time most by bein unique.
